12/9/2007 12:30:52 AM
someone post a clip of the finish
12/9/2007 12:31:47 AM
Damn.Damn.Damn.That was 54.95 I feel bad about spending, really wanted to see Mayweather die.
12/9/2007 12:32:15 AM
Also, that ref was dry humping those dudes the whole fight, not sure if I liked him compared to some of his previous fights.
12/9/2007 12:33:04 AM
i thought the ref did a good job. and a great stoppage just as Hatton lost his balance and could no longer get up. personally i thought it was a very enjoyable fight btw two great fighters
12/9/2007 12:36:13 AM
Definitely a better fight than I expected, I just thought some of the stoppages by the ref when they were tussling on the ropes might have been a bit premature. Not to mention it was a damper to Hatten because that was the most advantageous position for him to be in with Floyd.
12/9/2007 12:49:31 AM
did anyone land a super good punch?
12/9/2007 12:51:19 AM
mayweather landed a bunch of huge hits
12/9/2007 12:58:39 AM
for those who watched both this and the de la hoya fight, which was the better fight?i wasnt able to see tonights fight but i did see the de la hoya fight
12/9/2007 1:02:52 AM
I like this fight much more, I thought in terms of bringing the fight to Mayweather, Hatton did far more. However, once he gased it was target practice for Floyd.
12/9/2007 1:07:34 AM
this fight was much better then the de la hoya fight.i thought that fight was boring, i thought de la hoya wanted to fight and mayweather backed up the whole time. in this fight, mayweather backed up at times, but then fought better in the center of the ring where he landed several clean shots, and as a great fighter that he is completly set up hatton for the first knockdown by backing up and then throwing a hard punch as hatton charged in. hatton deserves a lot of credit, he really made mayweather work hard. all in all, not bad and much more satisfying than the de la hoya fight.
12/9/2007 1:08:57 AM
that was a great fight to watch. Much better than the de la hoya fight. I dont see how the judges scored it so heavily for Floyd though, since Hatton was bringing the fight to Mayweather for the majority of the first 7 rounds.Well worth the $5 cover at sammy's

does anybody know where i can watch the knockout video at? youtube has shut down all the versions because of copyright by HBOprobably one of the best fights ive seen in a while. not a mayweather fan but he put on a hell of a fight and completely changed his normal fighting style. only reason im glad he won is because USA and his ability to keep promoting boxing to get bigger.

^ Try dailymotion.com. It's a French YouTube. It's a lot smaller and not as popular, so networks and copyright claimers don't know to go there and tell them to remove stuff.

the Guida Huerta fight on UFC was better to me
12/9/2007 10:26:22 PM
yea, I was glad that Merryweather won. The pro-british crowd was getting on my nerve.
12/9/2007 10:44:46 PM
how can we let the MGM be filled with 90% Brittish crowd, on our turf? how?
12/9/2007 10:48:03 PM
^They actually have boxing fans. Sadly, this has become pretty typical whenever an American fights a Mexican or a Puerto Rican as well. There fans just aren't as annoying.
