i think we can all agree edwards needs to gtfo already
1/1/2008 4:26:02 PM
he could very well win iowa
1/1/2008 4:47:05 PM
personally this is what i wish were the matchupsobama/clinton versus mccain/romney
1/19/2008 11:17:02 PM
there is a snowballs chance in hell that clinton will EVER accept a VP slot...Even if Obama wins SC, all the polls show him being creamed on Super Tuesday, CA, NY he is behind double digits....reality will hit Obama after Super Tuesday....I think it could be Clinton/Obama.....I dont see Obama winning much after SC
1/20/2008 12:47:21 AM
i know i was just saying that would be what i would want...it would be wierd to have a dude that has way less experience having a vp like clintonplus i dont think the democratic party is dumb enough to do that....a negro OR a woman MIGHT could win, but a negro AND a woman definitely couldnt in my opinionhonestly i thought obama would win nevada, and now that he didnt i pretty much think he is donesomeone in another thread said ron paul as john mccains VP would be unbeatable, which i definitely dont agree with...but i probably just think that cause pauls ideas are so unfeasable in todays world imo...i'd vote for that ticket thoughi think hillary will eventually be the dem nominee, so depending on her VP i dont know if i would vote for the dem or the repubmy original order was this: obama, mccain, clinton, romneymy new order kinda wants to be this: democrat, republican- idk man god i wish we could fastforward where this shit is going[Edited on January 20, 2008 at 2:28 AM. Reason : just want to be able to decide already...]
1/20/2008 2:23:43 AM
John Edwards again?
1/20/2008 6:22:06 PM
McCain/Obama 08 lawlz.I'm really surprised Edwards hasn't dropped out of the race yet. He could try to get himself a spot on Obama's ticket. Obama can win this if he gets SC and Edwards endorses him[Edited on January 20, 2008 at 7:58 PM. Reason : a]
1/20/2008 7:54:45 PM
Clinton/Bloomberg(sp) or McCain/Bloomberg(sp)
1/20/2008 9:34:19 PM
i'd vote for either of those...although i think mccain/bloomberg would be better(simply because i dont want 2 people from nyc on the same ticket)
1/20/2008 9:36:45 PM
Yeah, not sure he would help either, usually the VP is forgotten quickly...but he might make NY competitive and Hillary would have to spend $$$ in her "home" state. Hillary/Obama would be good but there might be too much bad blood between the two camps for that to happen.Hillary/and the Dem Senator from FL
1/20/2008 9:39:44 PM
ok so who are all the possible repub vp's?paul, bloomberg, huckadouche, anyone else??
1/21/2008 5:39:40 PM
Huckabee/ColbertIt has already been announced, if Huck wins.
1/21/2008 5:40:52 PM
bttt...when do they pick this shit
2/6/2008 1:54:09 AM
McCain/HuckabeeClinton/Haven't figured it out yetWhich is too bad. I really, really don't want to vote Republican this year, but I will if I have to .
2/6/2008 8:10:06 AM
Clinton and Obama are in a dead heat.
2/6/2008 10:18:04 AM
Huckabee is looking like a good choice for McCain right now because although many people don't really like some of his views/ideas, he is a very likable man and candidate. Also with as much dicksucking as Guiliani has done I wouldn't be surprised if McCain chose him either.
2/7/2008 2:43:46 AM
pretty sure clinton will HAVE to pick obama as her vp
3/16/2008 1:07:09 AM
for some reason i see bayd...idk why but hes a pretty clean politician i think, got deep connections with his family i'd guess...good in front of a camera etc...good looking guy like edwards but more manly no homo
5/13/2008 12:08:24 AM
pretty sure you don't have two Senators on your ticket.
5/13/2008 10:56:13 AM
obama should just pick some racist nobody. hopefully he wont be needed for a tiebreaker vote.
5/13/2008 12:01:17 PM
Kathleen Sebelius. If she doesn't get it I could see Tim Kaine.Hagel would be interesting, but I don't see it happening.
5/13/2008 12:20:16 PM
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/05/panel_discusses_running_mates.htmlnear the end they talk about mccain...i pretty much agree what they say about huckabees evangelicals still going to mccain and about jindal being too young...romney would be good for mccain with the economy but they say his polls are horrible
5/14/2008 5:25:41 AM
what about jim webb?
5/18/2008 6:43:25 PM
wesley clark blast from the past
5/18/2008 9:49:14 PM
idk it seems too formulatic to me...that jim web dude did a lot of foreign policy type stuff
5/18/2008 10:23:43 PM
ok i got huckabee 45%, crist 40%, romney 15%dem i have no idea...hear biden wants secretary of state...hear edwards wants attorney general, richardson was brought up...if he kept the goatee and it got the latino vote that would be the bomb...but i dont see that...my sources near relavant peoples says there are 3 people one of which was the evan bayd person that dont have good foreign policy...jim webb got this gi bill thing going with hagel...supposedly gonna be a big issue...even ed rollins is like mccain may have the intellectually honest position but its the wrong position...some woman was considered but they were like well how would they pick a woman and it not be hillary...personally hillary is the only woman i'd prolly consider voting for not to sound sexist...
5/27/2008 5:03:40 AM
Henry Rollins for VP
5/27/2008 8:16:15 AM
bttt
5/27/2008 6:07:27 PM
5/27/2008 9:49:20 PM
http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/06/10/obamas-vp-absolutely-not-says-ohio-gov-strickland/bummer....imo that leaves bayd, rendell, and webb in the lead
6/12/2008 5:14:23 AM
I think for the Repubs to have a chance, itll have to be someone like bloomberg... well known in their own right, can make fl and ny more competitive, and most importantly, steal the most moderates as possible from voting dem.
6/12/2008 7:25:27 AM
Maybe the Republicans should pick a woman. That'd be an almost certain lock to get a good percentage of all of the Clinton supporters that are spite voters.
6/12/2008 7:58:08 AM
The only viable woman is Rice. Since she's black that would kill a large portion of the 'base'
6/12/2008 8:11:03 AM
6/12/2008 8:14:24 AM
Al-Qaeda would run like bitches from Rollins.
6/12/2008 8:27:54 AM
I'LL TEAR YOUR MIND OUTI'LL BURN LESS COAL
6/12/2008 8:29:26 AM
dnl has sources?
6/13/2008 7:46:44 PM
supposedly biden was the top pick for that johnson guy that resigned recently
6/14/2008 6:24:15 PM
former gov of virginia is a definite no also
6/14/2008 8:11:54 PM
6/14/2008 10:16:39 PM
lol mccain/bloomberg has less of a chance of happening than obama/bloomberg or mccain/rice imoits either gonna be romney(bad poll numbers), huckabee(which will keep out a lot of people such as myself), or crist(safe bet)[Edited on June 15, 2008 at 12:48 AM. Reason : i feel he should get romney just cause he(mccain) sucks on the economy(self admittedly(sp?))]
6/15/2008 12:47:15 AM
the only thing I know of against Charlie Crist is that he's a very junior governor. McCain, being old, might want to pick a VP who would be a little more experienced. On the other hand, McCain is old, and practicality aside, a relatively young VP might help him in electability.
6/15/2008 12:54:44 AM
from what i heard, crist is very well liked in florida and he would basically guarentee florida to mccain....which imo is the only way he wins florida
6/15/2008 1:53:01 AM
yeah, Crist is popular in FL. i don't know that it'll take Crist to deliver it for him, though.
6/15/2008 1:56:48 AM
honestly i see michigan, fl, oh, pa all going dem unless mccains running mate is someone from one of those states...out of all those i do see florida being the toughest for obama[Edited on June 15, 2008 at 2:00 AM. Reason : if he picks someone from the ohio, pa area he might have a chance but even then i doubt it][Edited on June 15, 2008 at 2:00 AM. Reason : oh or romney cause he would win michigan then]
6/15/2008 1:59:12 AM
6/17/2008 4:43:51 PM
Obama, for all his rhetoric about unity and working together, has not shown much of a willingness to reach out across party lines in his political career. Much like Bush, he wants politicians across the aisle to fall in line with HIS ideas, which are quite partisan. I don't see him picking a republican VP at all.[Edited on June 17, 2008 at 4:52 PM. Reason : 2]
6/17/2008 4:52:19 PM
i've heard sarah palin (governor of alaska) as a possible mccain vp pickhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Palin
6/17/2008 4:59:04 PM
i'm disappointed if lunak thinks obama is gonna pick hagel
6/17/2008 5:04:22 PM
i think he'd be a good choice to be honest....sorry to disappoint
6/17/2008 5:17:35 PM
