here are some HARD hits - towards the end
11/28/2007 4:38:55 PM
the owens hits are pricelessowens somewhere was quoted as saying that taylor was the only safety in the league he legitimately feared...but that pro bowl hit, as awesome as it was, he caught a lot of shit for it
11/28/2007 4:45:24 PM
he was a monster coming up on run support. Some of those hits were nasty.
11/28/2007 4:52:38 PM
3 people are detained for this
11/30/2007 1:54:44 PM
http://www.local10.com/news/14736793/detail.html?iref=topnewshell yeah, they placed them at the crime scene - looks like something's gonna happen
11/30/2007 1:57:54 PM
11/30/2007 1:59:04 PM
So... It really was a random burglary, and it had nothing to do with HIM being involved in any "Thug Shit"Who woulda thunk it?
12/3/2007 1:34:54 PM
Still not 100 percent sure on that, but its looking like you were right. That doesn't mean that my (and plenty of others) initial opinion was unwarranted, however. There was a history there.
12/3/2007 1:37:36 PM
some young kids, but they need to go down hard for this.
12/3/2007 1:38:56 PM
i thought that the knife on the pillow was someone sending him a messagewhether there was anything "thug" related, who knows
12/3/2007 1:39:03 PM
given that his stepsister allegedly had a party when he was out with some low lives there could be some thug technically, but not in the way we were thinking
12/3/2007 1:39:43 PM
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/12/03/taylor.funeral.ap/index.html#cnnSTCVideoYeah, Sean Taylor didn't bring any of this on himself though - he was chilling in his own home, that's it.And all this stuff with his stepsister's party is just rumors for now, but it makes sense.
12/3/2007 1:44:02 PM
12/3/2007 1:57:28 PM
They didn't expect him to be home - it was in the confession. But yeah, they knew whose house they were going to burglarize
12/3/2007 1:58:27 PM
ok they didnt expect him to be homestill seems like they knew whose house it was and that it had some good/nice/luxurious stuff to stealwhen i think of "random burglary" i think of some guys driving around and they see some dark house and say "hey lets see if we can get in here to steal some shit"now whether or not they broke into his house multiple times strictly to steal shit, or if it was to strictly steal HIS shit, that we do not know]
12/3/2007 2:01:03 PM
Fine, Treetwista, do you still think it was because Sean Taylor was involved in some thug shit or what?It wasn't a hit, they were trying to burglarize his house.I thought this was most likely b/c he was shot in the leg, then they bolted
12/3/2007 2:03:18 PM
Lil Wyte - Doubt Me Now - 10 - Good Dope
12/3/2007 2:04:18 PM
I agree it wasn't a hit. They would've aimed higher. Still though there are too many shady details to think it was just a random burglary...knife left on the pillow...phone lines cut...etc...
12/3/2007 2:09:47 PM
Detectives said there were no phone lines cut - that was another rumor.Only thing I don't understand is why the phones in their room weren't working - but that may have been another rumor. Maybe they only used cell phones and didn't have their portable room phones charged up or something.Either way, I maintain that Sean Taylor did a good job of turning his life around, and didn't bring any of this on himself. It was tragic that these little stick up kid thugs took his life - but I'm sure they'll get plenty of beatings and such in jail.
12/3/2007 2:14:33 PM

Sean Taylor posthumously voted to NFC Pro Bowl team -- as a STARTERSeems like sometimes people forget he was leading the NFL in interceptions when he was murdered.http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3160120
12/19/2007 9:47:11 AM
yeah I mean... he was on his way to the pro bowl anyways.
12/19/2007 9:48:52 AM
He was already leading the position in votes before he died, so it wasn't like people just voted him in to honor him; he probably would have made it on his play aloneand I'm pretty sure Cromartie was leading the league in picks at that point, but Taylor was right up there
12/19/2007 9:49:15 AM
12/19/2007 9:53:52 AM
I had to check just to make sureCromartie had his 6th interception of the year on November 11thTaylor died on the 27th
12/19/2007 10:00:47 AM
Maybe it was from when when Taylor was injured - he was leading in the last game he played. Good catch though, b/c I keep hearing about how he was leading the NFL when he was MURDERED on TV.
12/19/2007 10:02:39 AM
either way. sean taylor was doing really good before he got hurt, and then killed. i think it was good that they voted him into the pro bowl. I'm sure the first defensive play for the NFC will be with 10 men on the field.
