there's a big difference between REAL luxury vehicles and the "pseudo-american luxury car".Audi is not a luxury brand, I dont give a damn what wikipedia says. There are a few luxury MODELS in the Audi brand, but that's completely different.

I consider certain Lexus and Audi cars to be luxury. Namely, those above $40k

YOU WILL GET STICK ON WEIGHTS IF YOUR DAMN RIM DOES NOT HAVE A LIP.THE SERVICE NIGGERS DO NOT KNOW IF YOU WANT STICKY WEIGHT OR NOT, UNLESS YOU SPECIFY.IF IT HAS A LIP, IT IS GETTING A DAMN HAMMER ON WEIGHT. IF IT DOESNT IT HAS TO GET A STICKY WEIGHT BECAUSE THERE WILL BE NO OTHER WAY AROUND IT.i mean, how hard is it to understand.yeah, the dealership HAS to put on a sticky weight if there isnt a lip to hammer the weight on.go look at your rim. it has a lip. audi doesnt give a damn how luxury your car or wheel is. they are gonna hammer on a weight.but before we go foreward, were the previous weights hammer on or sticky.that will lead to a whole new convo, IMO if the previous weights were sticky, then yeah, audi probably should have gone with the stickies. if not, then they have no clue. and no, they are not going to ask you

in his original post he says discount tire balanced them using clip weights initially... so it had clip-ons when it went to the dealership- therefore they rebalanced using the same type of weighti've read this thread several times now, and i believe slingblade put it well

^^ Yes, you're right. In my years of working in various automotive parts/service places I haven't had a single customer complaint because i'm very concerned about customer service. I will bend over backwards and give money away to make a customer happy. There's a difference between customer service and dealing with a problem though. Its customer service when you did something wrong and you go out of your way to make the customer satisfied - say maybe they scratched a wheel or something. This is a situation where the shop has done nothing wrong and is doing nothing but damage control. Because of this incident i'm sure this guy is going to spread bad word - some people go so far as to report it to the BBB, attorney general, etc. He has to deal with a problem that is not his own fault. On top of running a busy shop (I assume its busy being a dealership) he has to take time away to make this guy happy. Its unnecessary. Situations like this are what make me go home and slam a few beers.
