true...i've found two RELATIVELY good ways around it, though

1.) if you have your own domain, go make a bunch of random email accounts...instead of signing up for a gmail account, do the on-the-fly google checkout procedure (it asks for an email account, but you don't actually make a new gmail one)...this (so far) has worked 9 times out of 10...i don't know why it catches it so rarely, or what triggers it

2.) use variations on your name for your credit card - with my bank, only three things are required for online verification - the CC number, the phone number on the account, and the "verified by visa" password...as long as those three are correct, i can put any name on the shipping/billing and it goes through...i've done this 4 or 5 times, and it has yet to be cancelled
