Yea I know you understand more what my situation is, but some others probably don't, and don't take the time to read the thread. I really want to end up in RDU so bad, but I gotta take some baby steps on the way up. Unfortunately at a gov't job, it really doesn't matter how much or how little you do, your gonna get paid the same. Hell I got in trouble for working too many hours to try and get shit done ASAP and was making too much comp. time. I have a hard time with that as I think I should get things done now and get paid based on how hard I work.

you'll be good in corporate life, in some places anyway.

usually it's good if you stay after and work harder.

only in government/some corporations is that considered poor form.
