I respect the job that yall do, my dad is a retired RPD captain,I was almost a cop(thankfully I had a major wreck the day before I was officially 'hired"), I have friends on RPD (which I wish the best to)...I'm sorry you got shot at...

being a known drug area is not probable cause to get a warrant. There has to be a reason for that warrant besides "crack heads live on this street"

being shot at is also not going to help much because you don't know who shot at you or where the shot came from. No judge is going to sign a warrant for the police to raid every single house on a street and violate peoples rights/civil liberties without concrete evidence that can narrow it down to a certain house/person.

If they found a shell casing in a persons yard that might be enough but highly unlikely.

A gathering of people is not a suspected drug deal. TWW garage meets would fall in this category then.

Just got off the phone with the Catawba police department. Spoke to one chick and she wasn't very helpful/bright but she passed me along to some detective or some shit.

Neither has heard anything about anyone's window being shot out last night.
