Jaybee thank you for responding to that in a professional manner and I'm being serious. I respect your opinion and "I" never saw Manning's games that year all I focused on was each and every down where Woodson dominated in one on one coverage against the conferences best receivers, especially Boston of the fuckeyes. That's why Michigan was undefeated that year because it was Woodson eliminating one receiver by himself and then we play 10 on "9" per say because I don't count the quarterback in that type of scenario. Woodson was a hell of athlete too. Awesome punt returner and even showed up as a great receiver in the BIG games most importantly. OSU and Rose Bowl Washington State (against a great college qb in Ryan Leaf). With interceptions in both of those games. And yea it is "Michigan University" so he did get his ass kissed, but I can't believe you'd say that it was sooooooo out of whack for him to have it.

you can't double team his WILL.

^^^^ Agreed. Woodson's Heisman also had a lot to do with him going to Michigan and the success of their team. Bailey played for Georgia when they pretty much were just an average team. Maybe if Georgia had been in the national title hunt, Bailey would have gotten more love, but Woodson benefited from that fact that he went to the media beloved Michigan.[Edited on October 15, 2007 at 1:33 PM. sure Michigan was a good team, and Woodson was a good player, but was he better than Deion? Reggie White? LT? etc? No. A defensive player never won it before or since, they just dont impact enough plays typically, especially compared to a player who touches the ball EVERY play... I could see MAYBE in a year where for some reason there just wasnt an offensive player who did anything at all, but that wasnt the case. Manning left college as probably the best college QB ever at least statistically (since passed by Wuerffel, Rivers etc) and should have easily won the Heisman. Woodson just played really good in 1 or 2 big games, and made some pretty plays, but as far as impacting the entire season I will NEVER believe he had a bigger impact than the best QB in the country in the best conferenceCompletion % = 60.37 Yards = 3819 INTs = 11 TDs = 37and that was in a VERY conservative offense, not talking Colt Brennan type shit[Edited on October 15, 2007 at 1:48 PM.
