Ernie does troll a lot.....But I dont get your point either treeetwista... I guess those examples may be ironic. but what are you trying to say?I hate the pistons. But they've looked good this season
1/10/2008 10:38:17 PM
i said it was funny that the sonics actually have their rookie and suck, while the blazers are a great team and dont even have odenseemed pretty straightforward]
1/11/2008 12:00:34 AM
it's because Nate is the fucking man
1/11/2008 12:10:24 AM
hmmm kenny smith
1/11/2008 1:45:19 AM
ok so there's no point. fair enough.Barkley doesn't even try to pretend he pays attention anymore. It's hilarious
1/11/2008 4:08:28 AM
Monta is sick... my favorite player right now in the Association.
1/13/2008 11:23:02 PM
the denver charlotte game was awesome tonight, except my team lost. After flipping between that and the college games that were on tonight, I don't understand how people can watch college basketball.
1/14/2008 9:46:50 PM
I agree with this ^Monta is as fast with the ball as anybody in the league. he's still really young too. He'll get a little better.
1/15/2008 12:53:41 AM
I'm glad the Kings beat the Mavs last night. Salmons has been a big help this year plus I'm glad the Kings got Kevin Martin back. He dropped 39 pts. on them.
1/15/2008 7:12:51 AM
espn fucked up all the nba highlights up tonight. hard to follow.but damn look at Camby's box score.
1/15/2008 7:18:01 AM
Has anyone voted for the All-Star teams yet?
1/15/2008 9:09:45 AM
yes SIRHoward, Lebron, Wade, KG, B-B-B-Billups...I wanted to put Gerald Wallace in, but theres no way I could put him at foward ahead of LBJ and GarnettKobe, Paul, Amare, Duncan and Dirk...If I could, I would have voted Baron and Paul as guards and Kobe at the 3 with Dirk not making it
1/15/2008 9:25:10 AM
fuck Wade
1/15/2008 12:48:09 PM
My All-Star Team Starters:EastG Jason KiddG Richard Hamilton (I want to put Caron Butler here b/c he's having an amazing season, but he's a forward and I can't put him over KG, maybe LBJ though, but he should be on the team.)F LeBron JamesF Kevin GarnettC Dwight HowardWestG Steve NashG Kobe BryantF Carlos BoozerF Tim DuncanC Marcus CambyCritique away.[Edited on January 15, 2008 at 5:39 PM. Reason : too many good players this year][Edited on January 15, 2008 at 5:45 PM. Reason : actual]
1/15/2008 5:37:34 PM
east: howard, LBJ, KG, kidd, wadewest: paul, kobe, boozer, duncan, amareNash is the only player I feel I'm snubbing. But Paul is having such a great year.I don't know how you could even consider leaving Lebron off the all star team. have you looked at his numbers? something like 30, 7 and 7....a great PER and his team can't win when he doesn't play.
1/16/2008 1:40:03 AM
yea cp3 has to start...greg anthony called him the tom brady of the nba haha...anyone see that
1/16/2008 2:47:21 AM
No, I didn't see it. But Paul has played out of this world the last two years. Hollinger actually says he's been better than Nash for two years now. Not sure if I can agree. But it's arguable.
1/16/2008 5:32:19 AM
cp is probably more consistent but when nash is on, there's no one more fun to watch. He's a surgeon
1/16/2008 11:21:46 AM
THE LAKERS ARE IN FIRST PLACE IN THE WESTERN CONFERENCE!!!!!!!
1/16/2008 11:51:43 AM
1/16/2008 11:51:50 AM
tough voting this year...nobody had either Pierce or Marion on their squads in this thread but who would you replace?
1/16/2008 12:29:59 PM
any b roy love?
1/16/2008 2:10:36 PM
This is an all star game!!!!Put D-wade in it!I would rather watch d wade run the floor with j kidd and lebron than watch sorry ass rip hamilton
1/16/2008 2:57:42 PM
by that logic why put kidd in? just make the starters in the eastPG: LebonSG: J-RichSF: Gerald WallacePF: KGC: Howardnothin but high flyin dunks
1/16/2008 3:13:30 PM
^you are a dumbshitJ-KIDD is one of the most exciting players in the league
1/16/2008 5:07:35 PM
do you have any idea how boring Kidd would be to watch if he didnt have Vince and RJ to toss it to? yeah i'm a dumbshit, clearly jason kidd at point guard would be more exciting than my choice, lebron james, at point guard...that guy lebron is boring as shit to watchso just to clarify...you're arguing that Jason Kidd is more exciting to watch than Lebron James...wow even Jason Kidd thinks you're an idiot]
1/16/2008 5:10:30 PM
you have two scrub ass bobcats in your starting 5 yes you are a complete dumbshit
1/16/2008 5:15:38 PM
Hornets have been lighting it up, it's just too bad that fkn nobody goes to the games
1/16/2008 5:23:04 PM
1/16/2008 5:29:20 PM
1/16/2008 11:13:04 PM
I think you're both wrongWhile Kidd isn't exciting on his own, pairing him with Carter and Jefferson makes him exciting as hellSo putting him with Lebron, Garnett, Howard and Wade would give him that many more options for lobs and other crazy passesKidd and Nash should be like the all time quarterbacks for the All Star game...even thought they may not necesarily deseve to start, they should...you need great point guard play to make All Star games excitingSoon the torch will pass to Paul in the west and hopefully Felton here in the East
1/16/2008 11:16:28 PM
Iverson is even better in that role ^kable, I think LeBron has somehow gone from the most hyped celebrated baller in history to somewhat underappreciated. This season, the only flaw in his game is his free throw shooting. His jumper is better. His defense is even better.I really think is a toss up between Paul and Nash. Nash might be the most offensively skilled player in the league. Not only is he the best passer but he's pretty much the best shooter in the NBA. Obviously, carmelo, kobe, lebron, wade are the most effective offensive forces. But I think you guys know what I'm getting at.Am I the only one that simply hates Luol Deng's game? Can anybody really say Rip Hamilton is more of an all star the D-Wade? It might just be the nature of Rip's game, but I always assume he is a product of the system and not much better than mike miller.

ben wallace vs. joakim noah

1/17/2008 4:40:48 AM
I get what you mean. The Miami's record is sooo bad while Detroit is playing so well. I just think that detroit is still a solid playoff team without hamilton. Therefore I would hesitate to call him the second best guard in his conference. He's probably the second best guard on his team. but obviously miami sucks no matter what, so I can't compare them like that.
1/17/2008 5:18:59 AM
We should have a thread dedicated to ridiculous stat linesMarcus Camby would be over half the postsTonight: 8 points, 24 Rebounds, and 11 Blocks
1/18/2008 12:07:06 AM
The lakers have got to stay afloat while bynum is out, If they can end up with a top 4 seed in the West i think they will be DANGEROUS as hell to have to play.but if they slip in bynums absence to a 5-8 seed, it will be very tough for them to make noise in the postseason.with that said, these next two months will define the lakers season
1/18/2008 1:14:08 PM
Farmar has really stepped it up vs. last year, even when Smush was out and he was getting PT he wasn't stepping up
1/18/2008 1:25:26 PM
Odom will inevitably miss time due to injury as well over the next couple months

1/18/2008 5:26:36 PM
1. Pistons2. Spurs (not by much)3. Celtics4. Suns5. MavsOn the cusp: Blazers (suprise!!!), however, I think teams are going to recognize how good they really are and start giving them tough games, or someone (Roy, Aldridge, or maybe someone like Outlaw) is going to get hurt, and eventually slide. Also, I feel bad that I slighted the Lakers, but like the previous guy said, w/o Bynum, they aren't in the top five. (Wow, I can't believe I said that.)[Edited on January 19, 2008 at 12:11 AM. Reason : Late Show]

Thats the one Bobcats game I'm most looking forward to, when we play the Warriors in MarchBaron has always been one of my favorites ever since the Hornets drafted himand I haven't seen Monta in person yetplus neither team plays any defense[Edited on January 25, 2008 at 11:06 AM. That will be cool just to see the ovation Jason Richardson gets...they loved him out there. As far as your boy Emeka is concerned...we're sick of him. You can have him back.
1/25/2008 11:29:27 AM
It could be worse... MJ could have selected Adam Morrison over Rudy Gay... oh, wait Lol, how the fuck did Shelden Williams get selected over Gay too. Morons. The lot of them.----Duke big men are hilarious. Brand was nasty in college and the NBA. Boozer was mediocre in college but great in the NBA. McRoberts is a pussy. Why would a big man EVER go there?[Edited on January 25, 2008 at 11:37 AM. Reason : x]
