it seems like this season is trying to appeal a lot more to the generic show watching audience with the murder plotline, lack of much football, etc. i hate to say that i wish that show would have just ended while it was ahead.

According to http://www.thefutoncritic.com/guide.aspx?id=strike_scripted they have 5 episodes left after this one. That is the best site for checking out how many episodes your shows have left and when they air next.[Edited on January 4, 2008 at 9:17 PM. Reason : ]

^^ You forgot Soulja Boy!

Just watched the new episode from last week last night....I thought it was a great episode and about cried when coach stood up for Riggs, only to get pissed at the end. Still one of my fav shows right now...hope it keeps up
1/11/2008 1:48:23 PM
damn good episode tonight. i lol'd though when they had Rick Barnes, head coach of the Texas men's basketball program, come into the local diner posing as a TMU football coach and talk to Smash about attending TMU. it just seemed odd, although i do know that they had Mack Brown in one of the first episodes of the first season.anyone think Tim Riggins or his brother is going to get shot by the meth drug dealer in future episodes?
1/11/2008 10:44:43 PM
nah, they couldn't deal with another murder story line. I wonder when they are going to work Street back into the show, or has he left?
1/12/2008 12:57:03 AM
I don't think this show has anything to do with football now
1/20/2008 2:34:24 PM
Is this the Tim Riggins show? He had more screen time than DDL in There Will Be Blood.
1/29/2008 1:42:00 AM
^ me and tjb627 have concluded riggins get a swift kick in the nuts at least once an episode. i'm afraid they're getting a little too extreme with some of the drama. some of the things they have characters doing just aren't very consistent with how they were portrayed in the first season.
1/29/2008 2:59:28 AM
The glaring problem this season is the absence of football.
1/29/2008 7:36:08 AM
if last episode begins a trend, the show will be more about volleyball than football.and it's sorta funny watching the first season which was awesome and could've ended fine after its last epsidoe, then they got a new season and had to create storylines. i wish i could've been in that room:"so i think landrey should KILL someone" "what about riggins?" "riggins is going to steal money from a drug dealer... and there's this guy named the SWEDE" "oooo that's good"
1/29/2008 8:58:45 AM
I want to see some football damnit, or at least tyra's ass if they're going to show volleyball.
1/29/2008 10:20:36 AM
If there is a season 3 are they going to follow them to college? That'll be too Dawson's Creek, but as far as I know, aren't all of the stars of the show seniors?
1/29/2008 10:36:38 AM
I don't think Matt and Landry are
1/29/2008 11:26:38 AM
Season finale is tonight and it's possible this could be the series finale.
2/8/2008 2:53:34 PM
Is it really the season finale? I know it's the last one they've shot but I thought that was because of the strike. I figured this season wasn't supposed to end until the end of the football season. The playoffs haven't even begun yet.
2/8/2008 3:09:29 PM
This is the last of the episodes since because of the writer's strike. The DVD has already been announced that will include all 15 episodes from this season (15th episode is tonight). I doubt the studio would want FNL to start up production again for ~6 more episodes. Higher profile shows get the call first.
2/8/2008 3:13:48 PM
i hope it doesn't have a cliffhanger ending.
2/8/2008 3:27:01 PM
i really hope FNL doesn't end like that.
2/9/2008 9:36:21 AM
^ no kidding. That would be a HORRIBLE way to end the season, much less the series.
2/9/2008 9:42:49 AM
well it surprised me how well it ended.. i was expecting no closure at all. it's a shame that they won't get a chance to make the other 7 or so episodes... they could've done more with the storylines.
2/9/2008 6:24:42 PM
I hope they let it roll another season. This season was great for what it accomplished with the shitty scheduling problems from the strike. If it gets replaced with reality shit, I will be very pissed. With this gone, the only shows I have to watch now are Lost and Jericho, which starts this week.
2/9/2008 7:34:01 PM
At least they sorta ended the Smash storyline.
2/10/2008 11:17:19 AM
yea saracen and riggins kinda got the short end of the wrapping up the story lines bit.i figured by episode 22 they would have matt and julie back together or something.
2/10/2008 12:09:40 PM
hot mexican nanny
2/10/2008 2:18:30 PM
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't think Street could have kids anymore. I remember when he was laying up in the hospital and Lyla came to visit they started making out, and then Street asked a nurse if he was able to and she said no.
2/10/2008 9:53:51 PM
^Did you watch the entire episode?
2/10/2008 11:09:30 PM
Well I did, but I know I missed some parts, did they cover that in this episode?
2/11/2008 1:27:16 AM
^ yup. miracle baby. or she lied about who she's slept with
2/11/2008 1:46:17 AM
I'm guessing she lied, which means she's probably pregnant by the one and only Tim Riggins
2/11/2008 9:31:38 AM
NBC has begun to have conversations with The CW, E!, G4 and TNT (and possibly DirecTV) about helping out with the series. I hate that it has come down to this but I like the fact that NBC is actually trying to keep this show alive in some way.
