I don't really understand what's particularly appealing about Giuliani.

If I was a republican....

.... McCain, I guess.

I've noticed I havent really seen anyone mention Mitt Romney, isn't he one of the top contenders over there?

If it has to do with politics - I always disagree with treetwista.

Obama is not popular because his name rhymes with Osama

As for the others, you're probably right though - being the first lady or a star actor turned politician usually makes you a household name.

"Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani is expected to attend a private fundraiser in Pinehurst on Monday.

Fewer than 100 people have been invited to the event at a private residence, and supporters said they expect to raise more than $50,000 for the former New York City mayor's campaign.

Polls show Giuliani leads among Republicans in North Carolina."

wtf--when did this happen? i'm not sure which would be more disappointing: if you losers nominate giuliani or the democrats nominate clinton

^^as long as the democrats control congress, i don't think the pro-choice camp has much to worry about either way

John McCain

but the two-party system is a farce and the greatest single evidence that democracy has failed in the United States
