Ric Flair (88 overall) ...WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/823/823977p1.htmlOh yeah, the demo is out now. You can play as Orton, Taker, Mysterio, or Lashley. It's a little different than 07, and the fighting styles add an interesting twist to gameplay. Only two kinds of matches, normal and hardcore. Feel free to post your thoughts now that this thread is on it's second page. (Never posting big pics on a thread again.)

Call it parity, wrestler's egos, or WWE's ego, I hate that all the wrestlers are practically indistinguishable stat wise. Ric Flair, an 88? Come on. Every wrestler (that isn't a woman) falls between a mid 80 to mid 90.I don't know if it's done because a wrestler would get insulted that they're "rated" so low. (Like football players in Madden)Or if WWE believes that since it has the best wrestlers in their promotion, that they are all high quality guys.Either way, I'd like to see a sizable difference in rankings.

IGN gave this game a 7.8.http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/832/832025p1.htmlTheir main complaint was the repetition of the 24/7 Career mode.

OK, after owning and playing this game for a week, I'll admit that it's a good game, just not a great game.Pros: Inclusion of ECW characters, good Legends roster (regular favs like Hart, Rock, Austin, along with new guys like Rude, Funk, and Sabu), being able to counter all Ultimate Grapple moves (can't abuse like in 2007), ECW Extreme Rules match is really fun (flaming tables FTW), and the ability to give imported music to created wrestlers. Cons: 24/7 mode gets really repetitive (even though I do like the day-to-day actions that you have to do for your wrestler), lack of choices on 24/7 mode as far as wrestlers (NO ECW wrestlers in 24/7 except for Nitro/Morrison), online play suxs @$$ (too many ppl with bad connections and serious lag), power-ups tend to unbalance the gameplay (I mean it's good to have certain types of wrestlers, but the power-ups tend to make the sorriest player into an unstoppable force). All and all, if you're a die-hard fan of the series like myself, you might give it a go just because you're in a fix for an updated wrestling game. However, if you're the casual fan, you might think it's more of a rental than a buy.

i'm gonna rent it just for the ecw extreme matchescan you have one of those in a hell in a cell?

Unfortunately, no. It would be cool to have a flaming table inside Hell in a Cell.
