Yeah, that's a pretty decent price. Especially for a brick and mortar store.[Edited on October 7, 2007 at 11:25 AM. Reason : The 8GB for $58 is a slightly better deal per GB though.]

Lol at the storage sizes from the first page Some dude said he has an 8 MB card for his camera... that's like 2-5 pics today

I remember paying $30 for a 64MB dell stick when I bought my computer fall '03, and being pissed that my friend had a 256MB stick for nearly the same price.

hah, these days flash is so cheap, I buy 8GB cards in bulk for my cameras, and when they're full, i just archive them and store in a fireproof/waterproof safe once they're downloaded.

The supplied cards with cameras were a joke even back then. My first digital camera (Canon Powershot A50, 1.3 MP) came with a 16 MB card. That was enough to hold like 20 pictures--less than a roll of film if you're going with that equivalency. On my current T2i, it would hold precisely two.If we counted currently would you include SSD?
