when you get to the gate, what is the procedure for checking your ticket? do they simply ask to see a state ID before scanning your ticket and stamping you, or do they also swipe your student ID?

^ Have him go to the student ticketing site and click around a little bit. Others have been able to print off tickets, even though they didn't sign up for them in the first place.

^I doubt enough people requested tickets, so the system is probably in "on-demand" until all the tickets are gone or until noon Friday . . . whichever comes first. I think he was saying that the roomie has graduated and doesn't have access to the system to get his own ticket, but he still has an id that is valid.

well not quite full-time, but you have to be a current student and pay the Athletics fee. So if you didn't pay regular tuition and are only taking a couple courses, then you aren't eligible. Also recent graduates(past semester) can register for a certain period of time until the system is purged.

for some reason it says You are not eligible to request a ticket... I am a student and have payed all fees as far as i know. I called registration and records and they said i was good from their end. anyone know what the deal is or who i can contact?

hmm...is this the first game this year you've signed up for? Also in the FAQ page it says something about if the university has a hold on your account, you may not be able to register so you may want to check with the cashier's office.

But since the Registrar says it ok on their end, then you should be able to contact the NC State Ticket Office at 1-800-310-PACK or (919) 865-1510. They're only open M-F from 8:30-4:30 though.

Say I sign up for a ticket under a buddy's unity account as leader, and another friend signs up for a ticket, only putting my name as leader instead. I'm assuming it would go against the headcount for the leader I chose, and (assuming that leader wins) it would allow all three of us to get tickets. Correct?

pretty sure that won't work. when the online system came about . . . it was said that in order for the group to be created, then the following must occur:
1. Someone goes to their account info and checks the box saying they consent to being the leader
2. That person must then request a ticket putting their own unity id in the group leader box
3. After both of these happened (in that order), then other people could sign up for the group

Even if that has changed, you would have to have the box checked consenting to be the leader before you can be the leader of any group.

^ I am a group leader, as well as the person who I signed up under. I'm not sure if it becomes deactive for me if I enter a name in the leader field.

From the ticket website for the instructions for group seating:

Quote :

"Most importantly, the group leader themselves must type their own ID in the group field in order to sit with the group. "

So the group leader doesn't have to be the first one to request a ticket, but they have to be a member of their own group. So with the circumstances you described, the people who signed up under you wouldn't get a ticket.
