A GOOD relationship:- independence- staying out late anytime you want to- meeting new people, having common friends - coming and going as you please - having time for friends- crazy flirt with each other- coming home and going to separate beds SOMETIMES - Gotta have stretch room

^that sounds more like something you do when you're dating someone and not per se "in a relationship"

There are a lot of good things to being single...and there are a lot of things I enjoy about it.But I'm here to tell you...having a significant other that you bond with on all levels is as good as it gets. Sure, in the long term, you might argue here and there, and you will often disagree, and sometimes it feels more like you're business partners than a couple, but in the big picture, it's my feeling that if you fly through life solo or not committed in a relationship...you're missing out on a hell of a lot.
