I got this too. It's fun, and I like the new animations, but WAY TOO many missed layups.I recently got some sliders from the IGN boards, and that helped cut down those missed layups, but the sliders made it way too easy to get to the free throw line. I guess I'm going to have to tinker with the sliders until I can get it back to 2K7 quality. Here are the sliders I'm using right now. Use @ own risk.Gameplay Difficulty - All-Star Quarter Length - 10 Minutes Run The Play - Auto Substitution Method - Rotation Clutch Factor - On Real Player FT% - On Game Speed - 50 Free Throw Difficulty - 55 NBA Rules [Fouls] Charging Foul - 92 Blocking Foul - 85 Reaching Foul - 82 Shooting Foul - 82 Loose Ball Foul - 90 *****Game Sliders - USER/CPU***** Shooting Close Shot Success - 50/48 Mid-Range Success - 52/50 3PT Success - 52/50 Dunk Success - 65/62 Layup Success - 60/58 Dunks In Traffic - 40/35 Defense Steal Success - 80/75 Collision Sensitivity - 70/70 Pick Success - 68/68 Pick Strength - 55/55 Attributes Stealing - 75/70 Blocking - 38/32 Ball Handling - 55/52 Dunking Ability - 52/45 Offensive Awareness - 60/42 Defensive Awareness - 62/45 Offensive Rebounding - 45/35 Defensive Rebounding - 58/48 Chance Of Injury - 60/60 Injury Effects - 60/60 Clutch Factor - 35/30 Fatigue Rate - 52/52 Tendencies Shoots Inside - 50/45 Shoots Mid-Range - 62/60 Shoots 3PT - 60/58 Attacks The Basket - 52/42 Attempts Dunks - 52/48 Back To Basket - 60/58 Uses Triple Threat - 65/58 Shoots Hookshots - 52/45 Attempts Putbacks - 52/48 Throws Flashy Passes - 30/25 Commits Fouls - 80/80 Plays Passing Lanes - 42/32 Atts. ^there are no missed layups. its not a layup when you lunge into 3 defenders 1 foot from the basket. [Edited on October 17, 2007 at 8:51 PM. Reason : WATCH A BASKETBALL GAME BEFORE YOU PLAY ONE]

^Even on a one-on-one or one-on-none situation, there's a good chance that your player will miss an easy layup. It's even more frustrating when the CPU makes EVERY close bucket and layup. Also, don't question my basketball knowledge.

is there anyway around the autoname of the imported draft classes on this game?I'd really like to play with C#3 from NCSU not Sam Richards or some bullshit autoname he was given in the process of importing a draft class
