i'm thinking if grandmommy says it's tony's (since she was there and all), and they have fiestadas, that maybe the pizzas don't look right b/c they're all doctored up for the camera. nardones just cooked one and took a picture.

so my vote goes for tony's as long as grandmommy still agrees.

next question:

thick or thin crust? i can't tell the difference on the site.

i think you need to see if you can make our dreams come true and can actually place an order before you decide what kind of crust. but i'd say probably thin

Damn, I forgot about those. They're delicious.

Anyone remember the breaded fish pizza trials?
I think I was the only kid who voted yes for those, cause I haven't seen 'em since.

They sell this at harris teeter! i saw it in the freezer section of the harris teeter in Cary yesterday. Its not by the pizza though, its by the hot pockets.

does little ceasar's still exist?

didn't they make rectangular pizzas?

...and the best thing about lunchroom pizza is how you could fold it into a sandwich

Go to BJ's Warehouse, they have the Ellios Rectangle pizza in bulk.

It's the closest and cheapest you'll get I think.

se7entythree: I'll bet you ANYTHING that if you use a little smooth talking, they will ship you sample boxes. Just pose as a contractor or interested business. I've gotten tons of free materials and samples from industrial companies, many times just because I asked.

Although granted it's never been for food, and I've always had some kind of legitimate reason, just sometimes a little different that what I let on (aka testing competitors products)

WOW. I totally remember the lunchroom pizza and that Nardone Bros. Pizza looks exactly like what we use to be served. I use to empty a ketchup packet onto it and chow down.

read the thread. that has already been suggested twice and it is NOT school pizza. just b/c it's a rectangle doesn't make it taste the same. if i wanted a rectangle, i'd cut any ol' pizza in a rectangle.

okay kids, for the last time...

ellios is not school pizza

/rant. sorry, i've had a rough day at work.

i will call now.

------------------------------

you need to call U.S. Foodservice in zebulon to place an order. their number is (919) 404-4100. i called schwan first, then they sent me to sharin foods, then they sent me to US foodservice. ask for customer service. i had to leave a message and am now waiting for the chick to call me back.

I think you're looking for US Foodservice. They do all the foodservice for my county schools and we had these same pizzas. You'll also need a commercial license to do business with them. Better luck just paying off your local elementary for a tray/month or something.

I was at NCSU Forestry camp this summer and we had the crappy Tony's round pizzas. Was gross and never hot... merely warm. I don't like to think about summer camp food, unless its the food we had the whole week in TN, that was awesome food!

Someone had asked about Little Caesars, and yes, they do still exist and one is located in Cary as a free standing Little Caesars.
