Friend of mine and i came to the conclusion that the lower the sanitation grade...the better the food.

Anybody who doubts this needs to eat a pork tenderloin, egg, and hoop cheese biscuit with home fries at Ray's Drive In in Wilson. What a shithole. You can't see people three tables over for the grease smoke and cigarette smoke in the air. But damn, that food is enough to make a grown man cry.

My family owns a restaurant and we've never had a sanitation rating below 92.
They do take off points for tick-tacky shit (when you use a cup to scoop ice from the machine instead of a stainless steel metal scoop); however, a 70 is simply unacceptable.

The 70 at first didn't bother me. The Macaroni Grill in Cary has had a C before. The fact that they haven't had someone come back out to re-inspect immediately and get a better grade does bother me.
