8/16/2007 3:57:25 PM
that sounds like a personal problem. sounds like you might need to put on your big-boy pants and listen to some showtimes for about a minute. [Edited on August 16, 2007 at 4:04 PM. Reason : not to mention those showtimes you hate to listen to, will likely have the answer you're looking for]

My wife and I just rewatched all of Arrested Development about a month ago, and I commented (several times, I thinkā¦. judging from my wife's reactions) that Michael Cera, George Michael Bluth on AD, is an amazing young actor and should start being in movies soon, so I was really happy when just a couple days later I saw the previews for this movie. He is really funny and even at 15 on the first season of AD he had a very good approach to subtle and quirky humor.
8/16/2007 5:26:35 PM
Movie was pretty fucking hilarious. BUT.... 40 Yr. Old Virgin > Knocked Up > SuperbadActually, I can't decide if I like Virgin more than Knocked up, but I know that I liked them both more than Superbad. Still like Superbad a lot, just not as much. There was a teaser trailer of The Dark Knight on it... oh and a movie called Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story written by Judd Apatow and starring John C. Reilly in a spoofing Johnny Cash kinda role. The movie is basically a Walk The Line spoof. I honestly wasn't overly impressed with this preview, other than Jack White playing Elvis...So, I have plans with different people to watch Superbad on Saturday and Sunday evening... 3 times in 4 days... here we go
8/17/2007 1:43:56 AM
^^http://www.clarkandmichael.com
8/17/2007 1:46:15 AM
^Clark has a small role, more like a cameo, in this movie too
8/17/2007 2:17:08 AM
^^^ i was wondering if that was jack white in the preview
8/17/2007 6:17:42 PM
that, unlike knocked up and 40 year old douche bag, was fuckin funny
8/18/2007 1:06:51 AM
probobly my favorite movie of the year
8/18/2007 1:11:11 AM
^^die
8/18/2007 1:32:34 AM
knocked up=chick flick with a few "guy" jokes to make a man sit through it40 year old douche bag= lame and not funny
8/18/2007 1:39:36 AM
^agreedI thought 40 year old virgin was alright but it tried too hard and was pretty predictable thoughout, I liked knocked up better
8/18/2007 1:56:07 AM
i just saw this. definitely laughed more than watching any of the other movies in the "trilogy".
8/18/2007 2:29:59 AM
if it's a trilogy, then what are all the other movies involving the judd ?apatow? crowd.
8/18/2007 3:22:26 AM
^he obviously doesn't really think it's a trilogy... just faster way to refer to the three movies we've mentionedthe common factor in the three movies are seth rogen and jonah hill have roles, and they are produced by judd apatow
8/18/2007 9:45:36 AM
8/18/2007 10:41:58 AM
When I called they had a number to speak directly to a person listed before they got into a long listing.
8/18/2007 11:07:28 AM
its funnnnnnnyyyyyyyy
8/18/2007 12:35:45 PM
it was funny, but not as funny as i thought it would be
8/18/2007 1:40:43 PM
^really? it far surpassed my expectations!
8/18/2007 6:08:21 PM
i rofl'd a lot. good movie.
8/18/2007 6:19:02 PM
The whole McLovin bit was hilarious. And most of the girls in it were smokin.
8/18/2007 8:16:49 PM
^^movie theater floor isnt good for that
8/18/2007 8:20:59 PM
kinda dragged a few times but was fucking hilarious for the most part
8/18/2007 11:50:21 PM
Hahaha they were checking IDs at the front of the auditorium so that no minors could sneak in. The whole McLovin thing was great.
8/19/2007 12:31:05 AM
dragged at then end but funny. and yeah, there was a lot of ID checking for this shit
8/19/2007 1:10:12 AM
I thought it was better the second time, might just be because there was a crowd there to laugh along.third time tomorrow night
8/19/2007 1:39:38 AM
8/19/2007 2:27:10 AM
Bill Hader is fucking great.Easily one of my favorite new SNL players.
8/19/2007 3:19:42 AM
mclovin and the cops were good. everything else, meh.
8/19/2007 4:40:21 AM
The cops were the worst part. They were the reason the movie dragged at the end.
8/19/2007 11:34:38 AM
^^disagree^agree
8/19/2007 11:42:42 AM
funniest movie i've seen this year
8/19/2007 11:51:35 AM
I thought McLovin and the cops were awesome, but I felt like the parts of the movie (particularly toward the end) with them in it dragged more than the Seth/ Evan parts.
8/19/2007 12:38:10 PM
this movie was funny as hell. I laughed out loud so many times-wordsworth
8/19/2007 1:35:53 PM
it was a pretty funny movie. I thought it was funnier than Knocked Up, but no way was it funnier than 40 Y.O. Virgin. The should have named this movie: SuperAwkward. I have never seen a movie better capitalize on awkward pauses, noises and shit like that...
8/19/2007 1:43:49 PM
i guess after seeing cera in arrested development i expected a lot better. i don't know, obviously i'm outnumbered here, and the critics apparently loved it, too. just seemed like they asked a bunch of pubescent fifth graders who just found out what sex was to write the script and they filled it with every dumbed down dirty joke they could think of.
8/19/2007 1:50:30 PM
i agree. now, dont get me wrong, some of those parts were actually REALLY funny. Unfortunately that kind of humor gets easily played out and doesnt carry an entire movie to me
8/19/2007 1:53:20 PM
my thoughts exactly
8/19/2007 2:40:52 PM
