I needed some dillinger escape plan in my life. all that crap from the Best Music of 2007 thread was turning me into a queerbait.
5/17/2007 11:19:59 AM

5/26/2007 10:50:09 AM
can we fight now. these back and forths arent nasty enough for my tastes.
5/26/2007 10:52:28 AM
No. I can't stand the fighting.
5/26/2007 10:57:15 AM

5/27/2007 2:56:30 PM
to be fair, you're like me in that your preferences probably arent serviced by a good number of death or black metal albums that have been listed. that said, i dont really listen to your bands so i cant help you.

i swear people try to be the caricatures of what they are
5/28/2007 2:15:07 PM
well he's right that a lot of the bands listed in here arent going to cut it for most people. i like metal, but most of that stuff just doesnt work for me or others (unless you're really into THAT type of metal).that said, there are plenty of types of metal that are more "accessible" so any intimations are unneeded.[Edited on May 28, 2007 at 2:57 PM. Reason : and suggestiosn like BTBAM arent bad]
5/28/2007 2:56:26 PM
^^ what are you trying to imply? I mean if hes listening to static-x and rage right now and considering it metal he might not be immediately finding Nile, Emperor, Immortal, Deicide, etc. to be his taste right now. Considering he posted this on page 2 when there were already tons of bands listed and he listed bands he listened to I thought maybe he hadnt found things he liked by now...I'm sorry for trying to help a fellow music fan out.caricature? wtf
5/28/2007 3:06:53 PM
i dont get RATM or Atreyu, but static x can most certainly be seen as metal.[Edited on May 28, 2007 at 3:14 PM. Reason : and obviously unearth, but you already said that]
5/28/2007 3:14:22 PM
all i remember from Static-X was music in the vein of radio 'hard rock' with yelling and a guy with huge tall black hair back in middle school. Granite I only ever heard one album from one of my friends that was really into them /shrug.
5/28/2007 3:20:29 PM
well ...granite...oh i cant even finish the joke sentence that is so reduckulous.the line between hard rock and metal can be pretty thin sometimes eh.
