Anyone else having trouble logging into Pack Pride? I'll log in and it says "you are now logged in as ..........." but then it'll show that I'm not logged in. I wonder if they suspended me due to this thread. It wouldn't surprise me.

I just wanted to post a level headed answer in the "should Atsur's # be retired" thread, that retired jerseys, i.e. red jersey, should only be for those players that receive National Player of the Year honors, such as the Oscar Robertson Trophy, or the Wooden Award.

We haven't even honored Todd Fuller's jersey and he played in the NBA and was drafted #11 playing on a last place team for Les Robinson.....honestly he was as good as Hodge, maybe better.

UNC can never argue about where gov't subsidies go. Thier lobbyists run the state (i know b/c i'm at a law firm with most of them) and they tunnel money into that school. So what if we got a lil for the RBC center. 10X better than the Dean Dome.

I'm over here now because they banned me a few months ago, so I created another profile. Then they unbanned me, but when PP switched servers they made it so I can post in topics, but can't start topics. Then they banned my other profile, so I can't post, or start topics with that one either. It kinda sucks, but I'm not too worried about it. I don't start topics that often anyway.

speaking of idiots on packpride, i have a short story.

so i went to the baseball game friday night, and brandon costner, farnold degand, simon harris (who showed up later) and some guy who i guess is a trainer on the team or something show up and sit two rows in front of myself and my two friends. between us and them was a big family of a dad and 4 little kids. about the 7th inning, the family in front of me left (we were blowing them out and the smaller kids wanted to leave since the 4th). now i was on the very edge of the seating on the first base side, so there's that big concrete block next to me. costner decides to sit on that instead of in his seat, at which point a bunch of kids notice him, and about 6 kids come over and ask him for his autograph. he didn't seem bothered at all and was very nice to every kid that came up. a little bit after that he and the guys he was with left, i think i heard something about bowling, i don't know.

anyway, i go on packpride and there's people in there talking about how rude it was and how bad these parents are for letting their kids go and ask him for his autograph and how they should respect his privacy in public.

they're batshit crazy over there, it was completely fine and he didn't seem to care at all.

total douchebags, some of the guys that post there.

^My all time favorite was when I got back to Raleigh from the Gator Bowl in 2003 and someone posted on PP how it was a classless act for the coaches to put in the second string offense and let Jay Davis take a few knees to run out the clock and end the game. WTF?????

i mean, i still need it to find out when the fuck tracy smith is going to sign his letter (although they haven't given me much on that either).

the forums suck ass, though. i signed up for premium during our fb coach search and got a month free (iirc), then called to cancel and they offered me another 2 months free or something, and by the time that was up it was basketball recruiting season, so i kept it. meh.

yeah, i think it was a wide out for them. he was ready to sign with clemson until the day before signing day. bowden called him and said that they could not keep their offer on the table due to his poor SAT score. Davis heard of this and called him.

They all think the panthers cater to UNC. it gets so damn old.

which then of course turned into people thinking that wral made the story up and only made it a headline story during our game because wral hates us so much

when other users pointed out that other local outlets were reporting on the frat story, that just meant that they're all out to get us
