It would be hillarious to see keyshawn's reaction if the panthers were to trade him today. I know it wouldnt happen but still.

i really hope the panthers take greg olsen...the tight end position has been relative nonexistent for them since wesley walls left

How about those Madden '08 commercials...both Bush and V Young have taken swipes at the Texans for not picking them, respectively.

Nah, just wait and see what the Lions offense looks like this year. Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson on the outside is going to be damned hard for any D to cover. Martz is going to make Kitna look like a pro-bowler this year. Consider the division they play in and it's very possible that they could have a shot at a wildcard spot.

I thought for sure CLE would take Quinn. Interesting. Probably a good pick but I do think Quinn will be a very good pro QB..

[Edited on April 28, 2007 at 12:46 PM. Reason : why the f would the bucs take quinn? that cant happen]

Exellent choice by the Browns. They've needed O-line for the last 2 or 3 years now and frankly they can get a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round or via free agency. The Browns could look QB next year very easily as well since I don't think there are going to be any top 5 QBs next year.

PS - Now Brady Quinn does the Matt Leinhart plummet.

Quinn has a chance to be really solid, but I can't hate on a team for not gambling with their #3 overall on a relatively weak qb class. I like the idea of building protection for a QB before throwing him in there.

[Edited on April 28, 2007 at 12:50 PM. Reason : I think he falls to #9 miami?]

the Lions will blow again, no OL, no DEs, sorry QB, look for next year for them to draft a QB....unless...there is another WR available

Thinking he falls past Minnesota? If he does, then I believe Turnip is right, he ends up in Miami. This is the best reason to watch the draft, to see where people fall.

Quinn is going to be a solid pro, but he's not that spectacular talent that a top 5 QB needs to be to justify the money you have to pay them and the expectations that you have for them. It was the same deal with Leinhart, he's going to be solid, but he's not going to be a perennial all-pro.

I could see Quinn falling past Minnesota to Miami (I think Peterson goes to the Vikes). I don't think he goes any lower than #9 though.

Well, Mario doesnt appear to be anywhere near being All Pro or Pro Bowler....if he doesnt do much the next 2 years he will be considered one of the biggest bust at #1....he cant just have a solid career....

Yeah the Vikings are going after Landry or Peterson most likely, Tavaris Jackson is their guy at QB

What? There have been plenty of #1 picks that haven't even had solid careers.

Probably too high for Brown, but I guess they couldn't make a trade down, get value, and still get him. O-line was an obvious need so still a good pick. I wouldn't be surprised to see them take another O-lineman in the second or third depending on how things break down in the late first round.

Yeah, Mario will only be considered a bust if Reggie Bush is a dominant player, and he never will be, so no worries. Mario will have 5 or 6 pro bowls and anchor the Texans improving defense, that hardly makes him a bust as a #1 overall defensive player. Defensive players don't have nearly the same expectations on them as QBs do.

^They probably should, but they probably won't.

Washington should shock the world and take Brady Quinn.

Bush makes the Pro Bowl this season. Bush already made Williams looks stupid when he rushed right over or around him when they played.

lets see if Williams follows in Peppers steps(doubtful) or takes his Carr somewhere else

David Carr isn't with the Texans anymore and no way Bush makes the probowl until Deuce McAllister retires.

I would prefer that the Skins trade down to get some 2nd or 3rd round picks, but Landry is a solid pick, and will help solidify the defensive backfield.

Okoye would have been a better pick IMO, I am in love with the guy. Landry is a good pick too I just like Okoye a little better.

Yeah Okoye would have made a lot of sense too, and he seems to be a great guy overall as well. I was hoping the Skins would trade down and pick up Okoye, but oh well.

I hope Okoye plummets and the Chiefs actually do some wheeling and dealing this year (for the first time in oh.... forever). Okoye has some ridiculous potential. To do what he does at age 19 is phenomenal. We really need to land a D-lineman and a WR early in this draft before the window on our offense closes.

Reggie Bush. Someone said something bad about Mario Williams so the defense mechanism went off.

Yeah, you add Okoye to Mario and the DROY from last year, Demeco Ryans and that's a good core for your front 7.
