I haven't been having any troubles with our milk either we prolly go through ~2gal. a week.

i just make sure to get the stuff without hormones or antibiotics, because we have a kid.i try to avoid organic, because its $5 per gallon. you can get non-organic that is still rBGH free for $3 per gallon.i dont have any problem with it going bad too soon generally. one time i had a gallon that was still good almost 2 weeks after the sell by date had expired. and it had been open in the refrigerator the for at least 2 weeks.

GAH. Apparantly I didn't change the coldness setting in time to save it. No breakfast for me again. This time I bought the milk Sunday afternoon, the expiration date was the 22 and it lasted three days. Fucking hell people. I feel cursed. My roommates said they hadn't been having milk problems, but they probably aren't the kind of people to notice if it's bad either.

I buy this shit from harris teeter and HOLY SHIT its soo good and the date if you go today is in june...at least it is on the carboard quarts but thats never a problem because you will drink it all faster than normal milk.
