That's a bold statement from someone calling other people ignorant.

^ I'm in the Navy so.... I wouldn't have seen and army order, and I'm IN conus, so that's strike two. So maybe it's out there, wouldn't surprize me if they did that for guys that're deployed.

Yeah there is an order covering outside communication but only if you are deployed. Similiar to the censuring of letters during WWII.

well i didnt have asthma or ADHD. i was fully qualified in every way. good grades, first class physical fitness tests......but they all fucked me on a dumb technicality. one that would have never happened if, lets say my daddy was a colonel.....like some people i know who had strings pulled for them.

but my brother graduated from state too and is now an ensign in flight school, so at least it worked out for him. he posts on here on rare occasions

I was in arotc 03-05. Got out because it was gay. Currently I'm an E-4, previously in the q course, now a shooter at Ft. Polk.

And if I see any former comrades of mine who are 2LTs, I'll still tell 'em what to do.

yeah sure it was.

I'd like to know this as well. I've never known a qualified applicant that was turned down due to a "technicality". You are either qualified or you aren't, there isn't any gray area.

oh there is a gray area, trust me. i fell into the gray area. i met and exceeded ALL standards but got fucked by a technicality and red tape. to be honest i dont really feel like typing out my whole situation nor do i feel like explaining or justifying myself to anyone. just know that i served my country, spent 2 years enlisted infantry and got fucked out of every officer program at state for 4 years.....because of a technicality. it does happen, there are gray areas, and no i wasnt fat, flatfooted, retarded, bad grades, weak, sickly, bad eyesight, ADHD, mental issues or any other reason yall must be assuming. the reason i got fucked is so damn retarded, that it would have been laughed at during lets say WWII or Nam and my ass would have been in. but todays retarded military cant read between the lines.

I'm proudly serving, abn school grad, previously in the q, currently with 10th Motown about to go to Ranger School and deployment this year. I know who I am and what I've done, and you ain't never gonna pull my card with your little snide comments.

I quit because I didn't like the kiddies who thought they were all hard and couldn't pt. I didn't like the nonsense they passed off as "training" and I damn sure didn't like the OML, since I was not a notable scholar. I had no obligation to the U.S. military but enlisted 2 weeks after I got my degree.

^^ eh my bad dude, I don't usually get wound up on the wolf web, but when it comes to the old job...anyway you seem like good people

^Ski I've signed a non-disclosure agreement about that but I would highly recommend 'Chosen Soldier' by Dick Couch it talks all about SFAS and the Q.

Either way I'm only in exile from bragg for a year.

Does Army ROTC still have a large wood-frame marker board in the class/conference room?

My enduring legacy.
