The Trans-Am team deserved the win. I was glad they pulled it off instead of the Cutlass. Getting their brakes fixed may have been their smartest move yet, but they still couldn't pull off the win. Sorry for the Ford guys, but I don't think they had any right to be pissed. They brought a vehicle with stellar highway performance and poor track performance. They reaped the rewards of having a huge tank, but they had to take what was coming to them on the track.Hmmm...This girl is pretty hot, she has $100k in the bank, she is into cars, I know her name, and I know where she is from. ^ They brought a vehicle with poor track performance. It's their own fault. They leveraged their huge gas tank and off road capabilities for all they were worth and did well to make it as far as they did.

this is true... just think if the charger would have used the stock tank + a fuel cell.and was driven by the ford boys.

I think the Honda and the Lotus were prime contenders. Since they were both driven by douches I didn't really mind them getting knocked out of the competition though.I'll give it to the Ford guys. They did really well and their truck was very well suited for the highway parts. I wonder why more teams didn't bring extra gas tanks or if there was a limit on the amount of extra fuel they could carry? The pickup could have carried just about enough fuel to never have to fill up during the whole competition.[Edited on May 17, 2007 at 3:09 PM. Reason : s]
