4/15/2007 7:45:14 PM
i'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they know what they're doing with ledgerbut there were soo many better actors it seems they could have chosen
4/15/2007 7:45:36 PM
^^haha, well i may have been fooled but im glad its not for real
4/15/2007 7:47:24 PM
i guarantee the first teaser posters won't show that much of him, maybe more like him hiding in the shadows or the back of his head or something
4/15/2007 9:11:52 PM
I wonder if they will even have this joker wearing the paint at all??I thought they were going to do a younger joker...Although they did say he had a "taste for theatrics"
4/15/2007 9:45:18 PM
agree also. katie holmes is too bland.
4/15/2007 9:49:58 PM
Katie Holmes had absolutely no business being in the first movie. Her character contributed nothing, and could have been removed entirely without affecting the movie at all. In fairness that's not Katie's fault, it's the fault of the people who wrote her in, but she didn't make a convincing love-interest at all. What would have been really neat to see instead was have her character replaced by Harvey Dent. Harvey and Bruce are suppose to be really good friends in the comics, right? It would have been a shit ton neater to see them growing up together as best friends, then witness Batman in conflict as he attempts to bring to justice a madman who was his former friend.
4/15/2007 9:55:24 PM
Yea, I definitely did not feel the romance between Holmes and Batman.
4/15/2007 10:08:34 PM
4/15/2007 10:10:41 PM
Wait...there was suppose to be a love interest between them? I just thought they were friends...she bored me tremendously throughout the movie.I agree with who ever brought up the Harvey Dent idea...that would have been great and def built up for next movie. III
4/16/2007 9:14:23 AM
OH DAMN IT ALL HE LOOKS WORSE THAN THE GODDAMN PHOTOSHOPS
4/20/2007 7:47:41 PM
how can you tell? looks like someone sneezed on the camera lens first
4/20/2007 8:09:12 PM
you cant tell because no one can see a damn thingi have faith in the producers. he'll be good to go
4/20/2007 8:16:21 PM
given how they portrayed the scarecrow in the latests film, ledger will be a creepy joker rather than a scary joker.
4/20/2007 10:42:01 PM
man them jews can put out some good movies...
4/20/2007 10:52:56 PM
joker without film editing <<<< joker with film editing
4/21/2007 10:25:26 AM
if they do the makeup, I can't really imagine ledger looking much different than the photoshop. there's only so much you can do and follow the traditional colors. I think they would have to redesign the color palette, maybe pale instead of white, no bright red, and dark foresty green hair instead of bright green. Still though, ledger would not be my first pick. Jude Law would look the part excellently, but not sure how he would act. Just for kicks, what if they cast Micheal Keaton as the joker and inserted a dance with the devil in the pale moon light quote. Probably not a great idea, but interesting.

mark hamill in makeuptho he may be too old by now
4/22/2007 1:29:49 PM
^They could at least have him voice over the actor who plays him, like they did for the guy who played Darth Maul in Phantom Menace. 'Cause let's face it; Mark Hamill IS the Joker. Few people can do that role better than him.

Lets all complain about Ledger being the Joker...maybe they will change the cast for us. III
4/23/2007 8:09:23 PM
I could really give a rats ass. Though there are few, I have seen all of Nolan's [feature-length] films and I completely trust his casting choice. Hell, if he thought Lindsay Lohan would make a great Joker, I'd roll with it.[Edited on April 23, 2007 at 8:20 PM. Reason : ]
4/23/2007 8:14:52 PM
I am not too worried, it seems like everyone around here is complaining...he did an excellent Job with Batman Begins...why worry about his choices in the film?

and Insomnia. Chris Nolan and David Fincher are two of the best directors imo[Edited on April 23, 2007 at 11:34 PM. Reason : dfdafda]
4/23/2007 11:33:01 PM
^ Insomnia was OK. Mainly because they used Pacino and Williams. But if you mention Fincher you definetly have to give props to Fight Club. He did such a great job with that movie. One of my all time favs
