I'm reading these news reports... nothing mentions that body parts were severed or that one was forced to watch while the other was raped.Salisbury, do you have any additional sources?

Another fine example of the internet user-based media being far superior than the so-called MSM.

^ Or the could be made up.

yeah, I would like an official report about that before I believe it. I mean, the crime is heinous enough already, but this would add significantly.

Hm, no mention of her being body being cut up in that one either. It does state that her body was put into garbage bags. Maybe someone saw/heard the "bags" part and just jumped to a conclusion about her being cut up.But even without that this is a extremely serious crime. One of those times when you wish you could make the criminal live through what they did to the other person.

I'm assuming that this ties in with salisburyboys desire that America be a "white country."

have they done more investigation on this?? something tells me there was a bit more back story to it. very rarely does a simple car jacking turn into rape, torture then dismemberment. seems like they were trying to send a messege.

^I imagine a combination of drug addiction/use, group frenzy, and social/psychological disturbances could produce these results.

i'm still finding it hard to concern myself explicitly with this one murder. Murders happen everywhere. Why should I be concerned with just this one?
3/23/2007 9:32:08 PM
^ i'm sorry, but i have to agree here. This is a terrible case. But murders happen every single day in most cities, some of them involving rape and/or torture or other unspeakable affairs. The national media simply cannot and should not be concerned with every single one. To what end would it have served if this story was splashed across CNN and Fox News 24 hours a day for a week? Why do we all need to know about this? If they did talk about it non-stop, you would be crying exploitation and sensationalism. This is not up there with Dahmer and Mason. Those guys were serial murders, killing victim after victim. If people are being picked off one at a time and it creates a panic in a certain area, then maybe it can be a long term story. But this appeared to be an isolated incident, and there's really not much else to discuss - the victims are dead, and the sickos who did it are caught and will probably be dead themselves within a couple years. Would it really help anybody involved if the victims parents paraded around on Nancy Grace and Larry King for the next month? The Duke rape case is exactly what is wrong with the national media. That case was and should have remained a local story, to Durham and maybe the Triangle. Rapes occur weekly throughout the Triangle area and nobody hears about them, but because the news media smelled blood that 3 Duke athletes were accused of rape at a party and the inklings of a scandal brewing they blew it completely out of proportion.
