Have the Charlotte Bobcats expanded their repertoire and started offering degrees since I moved to DC? If so, then maybe...otherwise, no.

25 peopleand yet they still charge 16$hhhhmmmmm

^not sure about this, but I'm thinking that might be an ncaa set price, someone might know for sure.and athletics tried to throw students a break offering a ticket to a women's session for $5 when you bought an NIT ticket I think...I mean the point is that you are being given an opportunity to support someone and a team that really needs your support.everyone was dying to support the men's team in a home NIT game because it was a feel good situation and I KNOW that's not the same thing, but there are plenty of similarities.
3/19/2007 8:51:54 PM
Where'd 25 come from? 25 students?
3/19/2007 8:55:44 PM
ill support them with my time, but not 16$
3/19/2007 9:03:00 PM
heh wow, marist a 13 seed just beat a 5 and 4 in the womens tournament
3/19/2007 9:04:04 PM
if the men's game wasn't happening around the same time i'd go
3/19/2007 9:06:21 PM

meh, missing 15-30 mins of the mens game isn't a big deal. ESPNU chopped off 30 mins of the damn marist game, and I survived.

There are also VCR's and Tivo...and there are TV's in the RBC concourse and Damon's right across the street which is my plan for seeing as much of the men's game as I can as soon as the womens game is over.[Edited on March 19, 2007 at 9:32 PM. Reason : .]

3/19/2007 9:45:23 PM
i'd maybe go if my car wasn't in the shop. maybe.
3/19/2007 10:02:48 PM
Man, you should definitely show up for the game. Kay Yow deserves a ton of respect from the NC State community.
3/19/2007 10:32:15 PM
Given the Duke game is before the State game now, they probably could easily show the mens game at the RBC afterward.Question for anyone who went Sunday: is parking still the same? ($8 at CF, free at the fairgrounds). During the NHL playoffs I heard supposedly the NHL mandated that people had to pay to park (pretty fucking dumb) but I can see the NCAA doing the same thing. Dont want to waste my time with the fairgrounds if Im gonna have to pay regardless.
3/19/2007 11:05:47 PM
We parked at the fairgrounds on Sunday and just walked over, incurring no charge.

In addition to the Marist win, Florida State's a #10 seed in the tournament and they beat the #2 team in their bracket, Stanford, tonight.
