It was a good dunk, but definitely a charge. No big deal because we won anyway. I loved how the announcers started jizzing on themselves after the play though. They were all "Oh man what a dunk, that is going to change the momentum and get McRoberts going, blah blah blah". I guess they were wrong about that seeing that he clanked his next shot off the front of the rim like an 8 year old.

It was a charge....but that almost never gets called. Refs just let the guy get dunked on...its part of the game...it has nothing to do with the guy being close enough to dunk. The only time that ever gets called if its Damon Thornton dunking on a Maryland guy...and in that case it only gets called half the time. But that one time it does get called, it ruins our season.....

The dunk was actually kinda pathetic if you really watched it.The only reason people were impressed is cause it was McRoberts who did it.
3/9/2007 2:39:15 PM
McVag is talented but I swear people treat him like a cripple. Everytime he does some unspectacular thing like dribble behind his back or get a routine assist they act like he on par with the autistic kid who drilled those 3's.
3/9/2007 2:42:24 PM
Or the announcers during one of Carolina's games "Look at Hansbrough listen... it's a joy to watch him listen."I wanted to fucking puke.
3/9/2007 2:49:14 PM
amazing dunk, and technically it could have been a charge but they never call something like that... see Vince Carter in the Olympics
3/9/2007 2:49:26 PM
it wasn't an amazing dunk. An amazing dunk is grant on Carolina. This dunk was a standard dunk. If Grant hadn't been charged and knocked to the ground, it would've been just another 2 points.
3/9/2007 2:52:39 PM
it was amazing to me and the dozens of other people at Playmakers, 95% of who were State fans. Objectivity RULES!
3/9/2007 2:54:11 PM
oeuvre, it was an amazing dunk, you are a fucking idiot, shut the fuck up
3/9/2007 3:51:51 PM
OMG A REVERSE DUNKI HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFOREnothing special about that dunk
3/9/2007 3:57:45 PM
I wasnt talking about the reverse
3/9/2007 3:58:22 PM
no on is talking about the reverse dunk, that didn't happen in overtime. The title of the thread is "McBob OT Dunk" and it refers to the dunk in overtime by McRoberts. The one where he pretty much took off from the foul line and dunked it over Grant.
3/9/2007 4:28:30 PM
yeah, it was really impressive to me, espeically for (dare I say) a white guy
3/9/2007 4:29:12 PM
lol, he was no where NEAR the foul line when he took off.. it was a nice dunk but not anything you don't see 3 or 4 times a week..
3/9/2007 4:35:34 PM
I wouldnt say foul line, but he was further back than just a normal dunk. It was definitely not just an up and down jump, the explosivness surprised me
3/9/2007 4:38:42 PM
mcsob started from just outside the arc and leaped from about 4 feet off the basket. it was your standard dunk on a posted defender. there was nothing amazing about his dunk.watch the youtube link i provided on page 1.watching it live, i too was like, "damn ", because the dunk seemed to come out of nowhere and mcsob put it down with authoritah. if you watch it again, it's just alright.

^^^^, ^^^, ^^ typical delusional State homers... if McCauley had done that same exact thing you would all be tripping overselves to post about how "badass" it was... do I like Duke? fuck no. Do I like McBitch? no, but can I be honest and say it was a really nice dunk, especially the explosiveness of it, yes
3/10/2007 3:59:07 AM
I disagree. You shouldn't be offended or anything that I disagree with you.
3/10/2007 4:02:37 AM
ok, then you shouldn't get offended or think its wrong when the commentators (or anyone else) think it was a great dunkonce again, you KNOW that if McCauley did that, you wouldnt be like "ho hum, typical dunk, nothing special at all". [Edited on March 10, 2007 at 4:05 AM. Reason : d]
3/10/2007 4:04:52 AM
Actually, I would.I'm not big on the dunking, and I have high standards.I mean, in my opinion, once you've seen dudes with 40+ verticals defy gravity, dunks like McRobert's really aren't that impressive.
3/10/2007 4:12:07 AM
It wasn't typical, but it wasn't spectacular.Fells' dunk at VT was the most spectacular I've seen in a State game this year.
3/10/2007 4:16:41 AM
i agree with bridget here. the last spetacular dunk from a state player was from cameron bennerman. the one where he shifted his arm and body in mid-air to avoid shelden williams. that shit was on espn's best of the year highlights.[Edited on March 10, 2007 at 12:25 PM. Reason : ]

this is retarded, he dunked over someone, it was a great dunk, get over yourselves people
