Most groups would have pulled the entire charter and shut the group down. I highly doubt DZ nationals looked at photos when they made their decision about who to cut.

Why is this a national media issue? Is anyone really surprised that fraternities/sororities discriminate on the basis of looks? The media is a pimple on the ass of society.

And the black asian thing was a red herring, I've seen pictures of the asian girl and she's distractingly ugly.That was just thrown in there because it makes it seem like there was an actual issue.

Jesus, These are the girls that the sorority decided to keep. If this is the cream of the crop...yeesh:

Wolfweb, I give you Casey Jolley of St. Louis, MO (the smug-looking chick with the fivehead on the left), and Amanda Hendren of Avon, IN (the pasty, round-faced one on the right). Not saying I'd kick either of them out of bed for eating crackers, but these two shouldn't have the notion of objective superiority about their physical attributes re-enforced in any way, shape, or form.

It's good shock, knee jerk, tear-jerker, doesn't really mean shit in the big picture news. If it comes down to something good going on in a community vs. a group of mad ugly fat offended girls that can whine on camera at an "outrage" ...who do you think they will pic for ratings.

Well, (1) if you want your sorority to be well thought of, all this negative, international publicity is not the way to do it. (2) If you don't want "ugly fat chicks" in your sorority, why did you let them in to begin with? And (3) is allowing the sorority to dwindle to about five sisters and causing the university at issue to sever its ties anyone's definition of success?
