Hopefully the student rate for tickets isnt too steep, but whatever the price Ill DEF be there..GO PACK!
3/5/2007 5:43:31 PM
Wait, they moved the Women's Selection to Monday? Crap.
3/5/2007 7:02:21 PM
Why was the Womens NCAA selection moved back to Monday..I thought eevrything was always on Sunday.....it's going to be KICK ASS, having the lady pack play in the Big Dance here in our back yard..FUCKING SWEET!
3/6/2007 1:14:51 PM
Dunno, but thats what ESPN says. Maybe to give all the attention to Women's Hoops they deserve.
3/6/2007 1:16:05 PM
It would be sweet if we could do something different prior to the start of the Women's NCAA tourney game , like tailgate outside of teh RBC Center...i know it's different but I think it would be a kick ass way to set the tone...I mean "hey, I bet even the Lady Vols fans dont even tail gate for their women's team prior to home games'....what do all of you think? Is tehre any rule about tailgating for a basketball game prior to an NCAA basketball game, if your hosting RD 1 and RD 2...??
3/6/2007 2:17:19 PM
tailgating is never a bad idea
3/6/2007 2:48:50 PM
^^^ yup
3/6/2007 4:52:56 PM
so does anyone know for sure about the possibility of student rates for tickets? If you go through the NC State ticket office online the only option is the regular price of $48 for the whole "tournament book." I sent an e-mail to someone who should be able to get me an answer if there is a student discount or anything because I didn't feel like calling the ticket office...anyone know anything different?
3/7/2007 10:07:14 AM
I got an e-mail back, the student price is $33I think that gets you a ticket for any of the games at the RBC center, not a bad price...I think it is just the youth price that is being charged for students.
3/7/2007 11:18:44 AM
so would you get a student ticket or a regular ticket for that price? I want one!
3/7/2007 11:39:03 AM
$33.00 is not bad, so should i purchase it from the RBC Center or from the ticket office at NCSU?
3/9/2007 3:24:37 PM
OK, I just purchased my stduent tickets, and yeah it is just 33 bucks, which isnt bad for an NCAA game, hopefully our first round opponent we crush the same way we did Duke!
3/9/2007 3:40:56 PM

3/12/2007 7:19:40 PM
two games at RBC if they get that far...sweet.
3/12/2007 7:20:42 PM
talking about yow now
3/12/2007 7:42:49 PM
that $33???? is that the student price for a booklet for first and second rounds??
3/12/2007 8:54:44 PM
I'm not sure that I agree with the #4 seed or us being in the West. I mean, we were the #4 seed in the ACC tournament...and to give us that seeding in the tournament doesn't really represent how competitive the conference was. Plus, our performance towards the end of the season was so stellar...there's not a team playing better in the country...I think we deserved at least a #3. A lot of attention will be paid to our side of the tournament bracket, no doubt....between us and LSU, it's like the best and worst of women's college basketball right now. That said, I'm excited--looks like some great games will be on tap. If this tournament is anywhere near as exciting as last year's, it's going to be a great one.
3/12/2007 8:56:23 PM
^ the top few seeds (excluding the #1's) are seeded so that they will play the first and second rounds as close to home as possible. The NCAA assumes the higher seed will win the first and second round for those higher seeds to play at home. They do not project who wins past second round, hence the chances are smaller that you will play near home in a later round. With the 1 seeds, it sometimes happens that way though when they get seeded close to home in the first and second round (ex: Duke women in Raleigh then Greensboro)
3/12/2007 8:59:52 PM
THem playing in Raleigh is even sweeter..GO PACK!
3/12/2007 10:44:48 PM
Technician's reporting that Kay Yow's father passed away yesterday. Man.
3/13/2007 1:16:07 AM
and just to update the ticket info, you can buy a ticket for an individual session for $11 or the two day tournament book of tickets for $33 as a student. just go through the nc state ticket office to get them
3/13/2007 7:05:32 PM
^Wolfpack Club office on Trinity or can I get the student discount at the RBC Center box office?
3/14/2007 12:33:27 AM

3/14/2007 12:34:50 AM

3/14/2007 12:36:33 AM

3/14/2007 12:41:38 AM
3/14/2007 2:23:17 PM

3/14/2007 2:23:37 PM
All the more reason to show up and show support.I don't really know why anyone wouldn't want to go, the women's games aren't bad.
3/14/2007 3:17:56 PM
I just hope they play with that rugged intensity they had during the ACC tournament..I have the Lady Pack winning the WHOLE thing....GO PACK!!
3/14/2007 5:21:41 PM

3/17/2007 8:51:23 AM
