I will talk shit. It is well known that D-wade flops every chance he gets. He falls after touch fouls. Pat Riley even said it. so, you STFU. Maybe his shoulder injury hurt him and everybody would cry. That wasn't the main point of my post. him crying was just a side-note. He puts his body on the line? He stays on the floor. So I guess that is what you mean. Woody paige actually said the same thing that I did about his low tolerance for pain. Not that woody is the smartest guy in the world....but considering he gets paid to write about sports. So it isn't the craziest comment in the world.

that's very true^ I think Shaq should get a little more credit than his stats show, because he was still commanding double teams when he had the ball on the block. But Wade was unbelievable that series.

Well thats because 3.1 turnovers/game is considered good when you average 31 ppg, 4.7 ast, and go to the free throw line almost FOURTEEN times a game.2.7 turnovers/gm is not good when you average 11.7 ppg, and 2.4 ast and miss 71% of your free throws.Come on tree, you watch basketball you know these things.Revisionist history is amazing, Shaq was a very average player in the Finals and Wade put up one of the best Finals performances of all-time. Ask anyone...

Well I'm not JUST going by statistics. Shaq didn't do shit in that series. All they did was hack at him with Mbenga, Dampier, Diop. Also, basketball is an assertive game while football is a take what the defense gives you game. There is an enormous difference. Pull out Hollinger's efficiency rating and you'll notice Shaq is no longer a dominant forceShaq is a poor defender at this stage in his career. He can't move laterally and therefore is a HORRIBLE help defender. He doesn't block shots, he doesn't get steals, he doesn't rotate, he basically picks his own players by just standing there. He no longer has the lift he needs to hit his jump hooks. He doesn't draw that many double teams anymore (notice the enormous drop in his assists). The only move Shaq has left is his bull move in which case the defense just fouls him and watches him shoot 29% from the line. Also, I just realized that I was drunk last night when I calculated those stats and I think i divided everything by 7. I forgot the series only went 6 games. So the discrepancy in statistics would be even larger. So Michael Jordan never had Horace Grant(post scorer) and Scottie Pippen (one of the elite all around players of all-time). Hell, even his supporting cast players like Brian Williams, Luc Longley, Ron Harper, Dennis Rodman, John Paxson, Steve Kerr are enormously more talented than Jason Williams, James Posey, Michael Doleac, and the artist formerly known as Gary Payton.I could go on busting you guys up all day but ive got homework[Edited on February 26, 2007 at 6:11 PM. i'm amazed that Riley is still has coached 2 games. I guess he's still got hope. another loss like today's and he's going down witha career-ending injury. Let's face it this was the last year the Heat had a chance and now it's gone. They are like the all-washed up HOF team + D-Whistle.[Edited on February 26, 2007 at 11:45 PM. Reason : d]

Shaq got them the title but it sure would be nicer to build for the future with Wade, Odom and Butler

I think Lamar Odom somehow went from being one of the most underrated players in the league....to one of the most overrated.
