do not listen to ^^this idiot. never use small insurance companies. they will most likely not be there when you need them to and a lot of times they will go out of business without any warning and leave you with nothing.

I have Allstate for my insurance, and I love them, my insurance rates are really cheapI pay $117 a month, for a 04 dodge stratus and a 99 dodge ram, both with FULL coverage and not just the low rates for injury and personal damage and so forth - I have uninsured drivers covered and towing up to $50, my deductible is only $150, which is pretty darn awesome - on top of that, Im only 20, which should make my rates higher but they arent - the reason why its so cheap is because Im on my grandfathers account(im not supposed to be because im married lol), otherwise my insurance would be a lot higher try and find someone with a good driving record so you can be on their insurance, even maybe have more than one car on the insurance because that gives you a multiple car discount[Edited on January 20, 2007 at 10:24 AM. ^^ how does my suggestion to avoid using allstate, state farm, progressive, or geico insinuate (sp?) that i'm saying to go with a small insurance company? I never said anything about using a small insurance company.I'm saying use an independent agent to get quotes with Hartford, Travelers, Cincinatti, Auto-Owners, Montgomery, Selective, etc. because they are large insurers with fantastic AM Best ratings. AM Best ratings of A, A+ or A++ indicate a company with tremendous financial stability, and all of those companies have at least an A. (not sure on Selective and Montgomery, but pretty sure they are at least an A)
