are you saying that the DOGS were smoking pot? cause your story is really poorly written, so it seems like these 2 dogs were chained up alone and sad, therefore using marijuana to self-medicate. in that case, it makes sense and you have no right to complain. the dogs obviously need counseling.

no, it was the NAGGER kids. dogs don't have thumbs to strike lighters.

there's nothing wrong with smoking weed but it's pretty idiotic to smoke it within 10 feet of a heavily traveled footpath

i'm sure law enforcement officers never go to lake johnson on their day off....

these kids are idiots and are going to have to suffer for it one day, but yesterday i had to suffer through half an hour of soprano dog bitching

ok i read the story like the guys had the dogs tied up while they were at the lake running.

but they were just sitting there chilling with their dogs chained up beside them howling? damn that doesnt sound fun at all. i feel bad even putting my mutt out on the patio for 5 minutes while i vaccum

gotta clean up after your dog. i just got a doggy dogg and it sucks to clean her shit when we go out, but it only takes like 4 seconds (you tend to work fast when dealing with feces) - and its the right thing to do.

fucking hippys its from the earth bla bla. but nature/walking trails are for walking, not dodging dog shit. its sure convenient to have one to walk your dog down. our trail even has little green trash cans provided with dogshit bags every 50 feet or so, and still those assholes wont get the turds up. im just waiting for a "no dogs on the path" rule, and thats just gonna suck when im gonna have to drive my dog somewhere just so she can go piss or shit.

in fact, most people in my area walk their dogs at night. and you know thats why. so no one can see their dog shit and run.... unless, of course, they ALL work till 9. which i doubt since EVERYONE seems to be home around 6.

and yes, i bitch too much. but thats kinda important to keep public areas clean. plus i just got new kicks, YO

When you cross the little bridge at the east end there are hundreds of dead fish piled up. And there were several places where you could see more than three turds at once. Someone's dog even took a shit on the big wooden bridge by Avent Ferry and they just left it there. I hate lazy dog owners.

i mean i make eye contact but its usually for like a second...i might barely crack a smile or nod my head but i definitely dont want to say high with someone passing me cause a) i walk fast so by the time the person would respond i'd be past them, and b) what if they dont say hi back...then i feel like a chum

something friendly and cliche like, "good morning", "hi", and at least a smile is good.

i've only encountered one creepy person this summer at lake johnson. he was old and looked like he'd been living in the woods for a while.
