Game Blouses.
12/28/2006 8:52:59 PM
Thank god. We win. That would have been, BY FAR, the most embarassing loss since I started school ('99)
12/28/2006 8:53:17 PM
YAY!
12/28/2006 8:54:28 PM

12/28/2006 9:00:26 PM
^ah. our line up is struggling
12/28/2006 9:02:37 PM
12/28/2006 9:05:00 PM
^ yeah i was thinking that too...didnt we only score like 30 pts or something?
12/28/2006 9:06:46 PM
Wow, I can't believe it was that close. I was seriously expecting a beatdown of atleast 40 points considering ECU's last game was a 19 point loss to Winthrop (though they are actually good) and the last road game was a loss to 2-8 Morgan State.
12/28/2006 9:08:12 PM
46 i think10 at the half[Edited on December 28, 2006 at 9:08 PM. Reason : ^^]
12/28/2006 9:08:26 PM
we had no depth, AGAIN, and lots of 1st half turnovers...i think any Division 1 team should be able to compete with that happening...W is a W, and ECU has never beaten us.GO PACK!
12/28/2006 9:09:55 PM
gg for putting Fells in at point
12/28/2006 9:17:27 PM
What happened to McCaully between last year and this year?PS: Holy crap I was just looking at the ESPN scoreboard, check out this score:Grambling State (2-5) 27(12)Texas A&M (11-2) 101

12/28/2006 9:37:35 PM
I watched the game at a bar so I could not hear. how bad was Gotlebie? Did the announcers mention how Atsur is doing?Grant should not take 3pters no matter how open he is. he was 2-8 tonight. which brings him down to 27% on the year. he was 20% last year. and 26% his freshman year. he's much better driving and dishing or getting to the foul line.3pters on the season:Niemen= 14%Fells= 29%Costner= 35%Horner = 43%Atsur = 43% Ferguson = 50%
12/28/2006 9:39:39 PM
Brandon Costner needs to either be more confident in shooting 3 pointers or he needs to be allowed to shoot more 3 pointerswhy? because 3 pointers won this game for us, not our new OMFG DID YOU SEE THAT DUNK?!?! offense

I think you're mixed up...they did play Duke relatively close (58-47), but lost 68-46 to UConn. That year they went 9-18 (3-13).
12/28/2006 11:17:37 PM
Ah, well that SJU team would have wiped the floor with ECU.. where do you find that information? Is their a site like the college football one? I guess I got my years mixed up..
12/28/2006 11:20:12 PM
http://www.kenpom.com/sked.php?y=2005&team=St.%20John'sIt doesn't go as far back to cfbdatawarehouse, but it's pretty useful for the past few years.
12/28/2006 11:23:43 PM
The St. Johns game was bad but I think the worst loss i have seen in person was the Seton Hall game last year...
12/28/2006 11:35:14 PM
besides the few comments about our fans, the announcers were pretty hillarious at times...Announcer 1 to Announcer 2 "Um, thats what you call a make-up foul."Announcer 2 to Announcer 1"lol"
12/29/2006 12:08:41 AM
I also enjoyed how they kept referring to Horner as a walk-on.Even said that he had previously been a walk-on at another school.

12/29/2006 12:25:44 AM
i agree fells at point instead of grant was a big improvement.. grant is better at moving without the ball and fells has handles every bit as good as gavin.one problem i noticed tonight was that our passing seemed off. We telegraphed most our passes and didnt seem very organized in our set plays, which led to several ECU steals and break aways
12/29/2006 12:28:42 AM
sorry if this was already linked. it's a good read on why Fells moved to PG:http://www.gopack.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=9200&ATCLID=735274Gavin is not a SG either. Hopefully Ferguson can play SG on Saturday and move Grant to the 3 where he is at his best.
