^ yeah, and it will definitely be televised ad nauseum the entire week on sportscenter. hahaha, i know reggie bush gets plenty of sportscenter air time, but not near as much as the freaking cowboys and TO.

I'd love to see this Saints offense versus the Bears' defense in the NFC Championship game.

The Bears defense is the best by far.....I mean if Rex Grossman was only decent.

interesting to see how the mvp race stacks up after this game. LT has the TD record, but Brees has been ridiculous the past month. My vote would go to Brees, considering how poor the team was last year. amazing. this team could have the coach of the year, MVP, and ROY (colston...although vince young might have caught him the last couple of weeks).[Edited on December 10, 2006 at 11:26 PM. How bout dem cowboysWho dat gonna beat dem saints.wtf

^^ the Saints were at least a middling squad last year, pretty much the exact same guys who went 32-32 from 2001-2004 were still there. Not having a home stadium affected them more than you'd think. They lost six games by a touchdown or less (I'm counting the Rams game because they scored a defensive TD on a late bullshit call to put the game out of reach), which just shows that they couldn't close out games. Fatigue does that. No other team had to play with those kinds of conditions.Having said that, I think the current crew is very well-coached and has the offensive talent to run with anybody. The biggest difference is on the defensive side of the ball; Rick Venturi's defensive gameplans couldn't stop a 7th grade flag football team. ALthough the numbers may not show it, we're head and shoulders better in that regard. We couldn't get worse.
