They gave ND all the chances in the world to get back in the game and they fucked it up, pretty much game over now unless USC pulls a major chokejob
11/25/2006 9:43:18 PM
So umm... How are things going over here?
11/25/2006 10:22:08 PM
"THROW THE BALL"--Quinn
11/25/2006 10:27:54 PM
ok the only thing ive been entertained from in this game is one of the bands, i guess usc, playing an Offspring song
11/25/2006 10:35:08 PM
thank god its almost over
11/25/2006 11:18:33 PM
i wish USC's band would play tusk
11/25/2006 11:20:59 PM
all I know is one of these shit heads better score 3 more points at least
11/25/2006 11:21:37 PM
i need at least 12 by ND
11/25/2006 11:22:14 PM
god damn it ND... you need 5 fucking inches! pretend like its a little choir boy and just shove it in 5 inches
11/25/2006 11:24:05 PM
gd had it in his fucking hands
11/25/2006 11:24:33 PM

11/25/2006 11:27:49 PM
HOLYSHIT
11/25/2006 11:27:58 PM
that deserves a thread of its own
11/25/2006 11:28:41 PM
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAguess having 7 out of the last 8 teams you've played in the lower half of the rankings doesnt prepare you to play with a real team
11/25/2006 11:30:14 PM
still be in the bcs
11/25/2006 11:30:59 PM
nice catch
11/25/2006 11:31:17 PM
^^ exactly, just proves the point of ND getting their ass kissed and getting stuff by rep and not by merit
11/25/2006 11:33:22 PM
NOTRE DAME FOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONBRADY QUINN FOR HEISMANCHARLIE WEIS FOR SLIM FAST
11/25/2006 11:33:54 PM
actually they lost to the #2 and #3 teams in the country and there are a ton of 2 loss teamspretty much a no brainerhave fun at the music city bowl though, you guys earned it
11/25/2006 11:34:07 PM
^^haha was that a sign at a game?? outstanding[Edited on November 25, 2006 at 11:34 PM. Reason : ^]
11/25/2006 11:34:34 PM
wow, these announcers are REALLY pimping USC right now for the NC game. makes me sick
11/25/2006 11:38:03 PM
correction - they got blown the fuck out by the only two good teams they played this year, and will get destroyed in their bowl game
11/25/2006 11:39:03 PM
USC is going to the title game (if they beat UCLA), periodthey are better than michigan
11/25/2006 11:39:26 PM
correction: #22 SOS and georgia tech sucks, so does penn state
11/25/2006 11:40:20 PM
USC definitely played a better game against ND than Michigan did. ND pretty much wet the bed against Michigan and USC simply was better in every facet tonight..USC is going to give OSU a real, real hard time.[Edited on November 25, 2006 at 11:40 PM. Reason : x]
11/25/2006 11:40:29 PM
Im sure I'm in the minority on this but I'd rather see a OSU/Michigan rematch than OSU/USC.....
11/25/2006 11:41:42 PM
well its not going to happen, and it shouldnt happenUSC is the better team and have played a FAR tougher schedule
11/25/2006 11:42:11 PM
if usc does somehow lose to ucla, and florida beats arkansas florida should go.and ND should not be in a BCS game. i don't blame them for having a crappy schedule, it is done so far in advance hard to know that UNC was going to blow and army was a last second add in. i don't want to see nd mich again.
11/25/2006 11:43:07 PM
back to this fucking crappy schedule mythTHEIR STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE IS FAR SUPERIOR TO THE COMPETITION FOR AT-LARGE BIDS
11/25/2006 11:44:43 PM
^ truth
11/25/2006 11:45:23 PM
the two teams that are boosting ND's SOS kicked their ass, ND beat nobody, they should not go to a BCS game.
11/25/2006 11:47:23 PM
as said in the fucking pre-game"ND has beaten more teams over .500 then all but 4 teams in the country"get the fuck out of here with that shitbesides, ND's strength of schedule was 22 before they even played USC[Edited on November 25, 2006 at 11:49 PM. Reason : d]
11/25/2006 11:48:34 PM
Watch, USC will crap the bed next week.
11/25/2006 11:48:56 PM
I'm thinking of putting some $$$ on SC next week no matter the spread. SC teams don't shit the bed with a NC Game appearance on the line against a lesser team. They just don't.
11/25/2006 11:54:48 PM
all this talk of wetting and shitting the bed is making me nervousits like its a sign
11/25/2006 11:56:24 PM
11/26/2006 12:13:22 AM
A USC thread, and no cheerleaders in it? This just isn't right.
11/26/2006 1:55:57 AM
then who the fuck is, given the rules of the bcs?get the fuck out of here you redneck
11/26/2006 4:54:19 AM
The "rules of the BCS" is the whole point, ND can play a shit schedule, and do so-so, not even beat ANY of the good teams they play, and still get a premier bowl spot...More deserving teams for the BCS Bowls and NC game (10 spots):Ohio StateMichiganWisconsinFloridaAuburnLSUArkansasUSCLouisvilleACC WinnerOklahomaThats 11 teams that should be in before ND based on merit... then there are a few more borderline/debateable teams:ACC LoserRutgersWest VirginiaBoise StateVa. Tech[Edited on November 26, 2006 at 8:54 AM. Reason : d]
11/26/2006 8:52:13 AM
ND DOES NOT PLAY A SHIT SCHEDULEthis is the worst schedule they have had in recent history and its still in the top 25get the fuck out of here with your dribblehave you even fucking seen wisconsin play? Those debatables are a fucking joke on top of thatND didnt write the BCS so get the fuck over it
11/26/2006 12:55:09 PM
^^seriously dude? 1/3 of the teams from the SEC going to the BCS...I gotta wave the bullshit flag on that one^Let's see - the best teams ND has beaten each year for the past 4 years...2006 - Ga Tech (9-3)2005 - Michigan (7-5)...not counting Navy who was 8-42004 - Tenn (10-3) and Michigan (9-3)...too bad ND only had 6 wins on the season, otherwise this would be impressive...and Navy again at 10-22003 - Washington State (10-3)...but that was one of 5 wins on the seasonSo yes, Nd does play some good teams. The problem is the only time they beat good teams are when it's either a) an upset during a shitty season (see 2003 & 2004) or b) when their traditional powerhouse opponents are having shitty seasons (2005)2006 doesn't follow either rules...they beat Ga Tech in the first game of the year. Tech is going to the ACC Championship, but after the 7-0 win vs. UNC I think we can agree that GT /= OSU/UM/USC.ND just can't put together a good season...they may play a "tough schedule" each year, but they never do shit with it. They either beat a few good teams and then lose to the shitty ones or they blow out all the bad teams and get smoked by the good teams.[Edited on November 26, 2006 at 1:40 PM. Reason : .]
11/26/2006 1:40:09 PM
yes and that is why those coaches were fired
11/26/2006 1:42:06 PM
^^ didnt say would, or even should, just said more deserving than Notre Shamand for Phishnpriestrapedthe majority of the teams they played where in the bottom half of college football, BOTTOM half. Sure their SOS was high because they played garbage teams with decent records who had gained those records playing even shittier teams. There are a few really good teams sprinkled in, and they got their asses kicked by BOTH of them...aside from that there was some shit filler thrown in. For example:Purdue (8-5) - decent record on paper, but they are garbage, they lost to fucking hawaii. Best team they beat all year??? Minnesota or Michigan State (ooooooo, wow, big bad Purdue)Navy (8-3) - once again, good record, but lets see who they really beat to earn that record...Temple, Duke, Eastern Michigan, etc... best win = East Carolina (oh snap!, how did they pull that out)So yes, just looking the opponent numbers it looks like they played two teams with an 16-8 record, not great, but good... but when you really look at it, they have played shit teams[Edited on November 26, 2006 at 1:51 PM. 11/26/2006 1:46:56 PM
tell fat boy weis that defense is part of football and that throwing the ball all over the air isnt gonna win big games
11/26/2006 1:52:58 PM
ah, i see...over ND...hell I would expand that list to include the top three teams in every conference at a minimum
11/26/2006 1:53:00 PM
they didnt just LOSE to the good teams they played this year (MICH/USC), they got the fuck beat out of em
11/26/2006 1:54:38 PM
