I'm just saying, b/c AEM told me they didn't have one that fit!

id say there's some ability to move the intake around a little to accomodate a slightly different filter size

The end of the aluminum intake tube is right at the opening in my frame that goes down into wheel well, so no there isn't a lot of room for adjustment. Very little at all actually. Also, the intake is bolted to the frame just by the opening for stability. I suppose given enough time and trial and error I'll find something to fit. I'll start at Autozone I guess.[Edited on October 7, 2008 at 8:21 AM. Reason : h]

i find it hard to believe that AEM doesn't make one that would fit on your piping. i know they sell the filters individually or as part of a kit. if they sell a dryflow kit for your car then obviously they have a filter unless they did some dramatic redesigning of the intake system for a gen2 gs-r which i doubt. having one on my truck i will say these filters are nearly indestructible

I dunno, I talked to that guy at AEM via email and on the phone. I didn't have a model number to give him, but told him I bought the CAI in 2000/2001 and it was for a '92 GS-R.I haven't measured anything. I just moved last week and have no idea where my measuring tape is
