Egyptian type gods, lesser deities, scarab human hybrid monsters and plenty of other fun in the city of the dead in the desert... it was one of their better quests recently.

All the undead are set to be graphically updated this month, here are some glimpses of things to come.



And here is a recently updated world map on a ground floor level(which is only a portion of the world considering how much is in the 10 or 20 other dimensions, countless dungeons, huge castles and other realms that exist now)

The Temple of Light contains the only place to craft death runes... its has a strong Zelda type temple feel with shadow creatures to battle and light combinations and a maze to navigate.

Ice Mountain (one of about 5 or 6 mountains in runescape, although some might be more aptly called mountain ranges) is tied for the oldest mountain in runescape. There in the background you can see the black knights castle and in the foreground you can see the oracle, some ice fiends, and a white tree - lotr inspired I'm sure. Anyone who has played the free version of runescape over the past 6 or so years that it has existed has probably seen some of this before if they have adventured north of Falador. This mountain is also home to a secret entrance to the dwarven mining guild.

So if anyone on here plays on rs members, I'll be having an open house on world 70 rimmington on Feb 1st. I threw together a little runescape collage of different screenshots I've taken. The makers of runescape, the people who speak with gold crowns by their names, are around our age and open to suggestions on the game. I've held rallies before to convience to change things in runescape before and they have. Like adding more games to the games room. A place that usually only has 2 or 3 ppl in it at a time has tons when I did the rally there called runelinkfest. I'm going to try to get to it to spread across several free and members worlds, but the center will be at world 70 rimmington on feb 1st. I've played rs off and on since it was only a few hundred people, and the maker andrew used to play and be someone I've spoken with. This rally is an effort to get them to release the god war stuff they have planned. Alot of quests have built up to it, but they've been keeping it in their back pocket for a while. They do a behind the scenes each month a few days into the month, so if this works out, theyll follow it up with an announcement of god war related quests/expansions for later in the month (this type event worked on getting them to release orc's early too).

The new temple had the feel of a cross between diablo where you are descending a church basement labyrinth and slowly transitioning into hell & a zombie movie feel. The graphical update has alot of zombies looking more like their movie counter parts with flesh colors instead of blue, and with pieces missing, staggered walking, dragging weapons on the ground and all that. The prize at the end of the dungeon is an upgrade of an amulet that is powerful against undead.

Their easter update just happened and the limited eddition items will only be available for the next 2 weeks, but once you have em, you have em forever.

I haven't posted here in a while... they add a new quest or skill or mini game ever week so alot of new stuff is in the game since I last posted, but I just wanted to mention the limited eddition stuff while it was available.

This thing is still fucking hideous. I converted my neighbor from this shit to a fullblown gaming addiction to WoW. If I'm gonna waste my life questing on an MMORPG, it damn well better not make my eyes bleed to look at it.
