using the final 2.0 version now. runs faster than the 1.5. the in-line spell checker works for this field right now. The additions have basically rendered certain extensions I needed useless, because the options i wanted now come out of box.

For once, I like the default firefox theme. Some themes I have liked in the past are Aquatint, Phoenity, Qute, and Blu. Phoenity is the only one compatible with 2.0 so far.

Anyone know how to remove the go button from the address bar? Because you can't remove in the navigation bar customization anymore.

It's fast, but not spectacularly so.

Safari is about as fast to me, and scrolls better.

I'm not a plug-in whore either, so that's not really a compelling aspect of it to me.

I think i'll probably still use Safari as my primary, but keep Firefox around for those unusual times Safari doesn't like something.

Did Firefox put 3 icons on anyone else's desktop?

it did to me at home and again at work

I fucking love the restore feature, i had 8 tabs open and when I updated IE the computer rebooted, and Firefox produced all 8 tabs with me still logged in to gmail, tww and a few other things

The Crash Recovery extension did this before 2.0 integrated it, so FF has had this feature for a while now (but through extension of course.)

yeah i barely notice these "new features" seeing as how i've had those abilities through extensions long before 2.0 came out. honestly the only thing i noticed after the upgrade was the speed boost and some aesthetics...

I like the "Answer" extension...hold down ALT and left click on a word and it gives you the definition and other information. I'm sure soon it will have a Search extension where you can do that and it will open a new tab and do a yahoo or google search on whatever word you select.

Absolutely love it. Very fast and stable from what I've seen so far. Anyone got any 2.0 themes yet?

i used simpler black before 2.0 but it hasn't been updated. simpler glassier is the only one from the simpler set compatible with 2.0 so far.

iFox 2.0 themes: http://www.radar.250x.com/tb.html

but i am sticking with the default theme for now with the aging tabs extension.

^^ what plugins/extensions do you have installed? I havent had FF 2.0 crash on me yet. I'd say you should point fingers at the FF extensions before at FireFox 2.0 itself.

^,^^^^i'd be willing to put money on it and say also, it's one or more of your extensions causing problems.

run firefox 2.0 without any extensions, i'm sure it will be very stable

list what extensions you use if your FireFox crashes, or what you're doing when it crashes, what websites does it crash on?
