I think Hcnoggin is a retard and one of the worst sports talk posters, but he's right in that nonconference games will not affect which bowl we go to.

you do understand that according to that article as long as a team is w/in one of another team they can be taken over that team for a better bowl. what would make a bowl take a team lower in the ACC standings? perhaps OOC wins? another reason why your original post is wrong.and what you just said proves you've never played a sport, and if you did you were probably terrible at it.

remember when hcnguyen posted all that idiotic bullshit...... (OVER AND OVER AGAIN)
10/3/2006 5:07:10 PM
Very ambitious threadi hope that we win the next two games. that is all for now

i guess this is the part of the thread where the loser points out the fact that im not a great athlete if you even listened to the most recent msu coach talk about how he can't get the team to work hard during practice or during the games you might see what i'm saying. this is a major part of sports and YOURE the one that doesnt understand.
10/3/2006 7:39:14 PM
why are you bringing up fucking MSU? you don't have inside information about our team, or how hard they are working. All that ever comes out is that the team is working extremely hard, never once has chuck ever said he can't get the guys motivated to play a game. you are just assuming that since they lost an OOC game to a team they should have beat that they weren't trying. if they aren't working hard then that sucks, but you don't know that one way or the other so don't fucking assume.trust me, i understand sports a lot more then you do and it is clear on this thread, and by the fact that not a single fucking person A: understands what the hell point you are even trying to make, B: what you are saying makes no sense, and C: it didn't need to be posted in the first place. need more of an example, I play on a team at NC State that went to Pitt for some OOC games. We played 3 games that meant NOTHING, and when I say nothing, I mean they really meant nothing, not the nothing that you said in the start of this which was actually incorrect. We played our asses off for a bunch of reasons, from school pride, to personal pride, to the fact that anytime a quality athlete steps on the field you don't want to lose. Oh and I guess this is the part of the thread where you call me a loser for being right and start to use message board faces.
10/3/2006 10:57:51 PM
haha this thread is getting funny... hcnguyen i hope you arent in a dorm with a roomate... cause you probably drive him/her crazy with your bullshit about sports... are you a girl? that might explain some stuff

^ yeah i was wrong about that, i corrected myself above. and have stated what u just said many times already.
10/3/2006 11:25:53 PM
any quality athlete doesnt step on the field with the goal to be average.you keep talking about trying. im not talking about trying. they all try in everygame but there is something in human nature that makes you want certain games more and thats why a major part of any coaches job is to motivate the players.and a half the poeple are just saying im wrong because they had their minds up that i would be wrong in this thread months ago. whatever i say they will bash just because they dont like me personally.[Edited on October 4, 2006 at 12:20 AM. Reason : they are biased]

again, you're being narrow minded in your scope. Just because the game means nothing to you, doesn't mean the same goes for the player. Again (as I stated before) these players are also playing for a shot at the big-time, so every game actually DOES count for something if these kids care about playing football for a career.
10/4/2006 1:06:58 AM
in your world coaches would never need to motivate.

[quote]Um actually he's not right at all.You see if we go 5-7 overall instead of 7-5 that will certainly affect which bowl we go to.[\quote]from the ESPN article:and a bowl game can bypass a team for another team with a lesser record only if the teams are within one game of each other in the ACC standings.I'm only saying that this retard is correct in stating that nonconference record does not have the impact that it used to in bow selection. Under certain conditions, it does matter, but conference record is ultimately the deciding factor.I've no clue how he gets into the heads of the players and shit. That part is just stupid.

im just assuming they are human athletes. lets pretend we know they are for this thread and play my game.
