people buying shit and they wont let them return it

like them HDTV's that look so good in the store but once you get home to realize that the SD picture on them is 5 times worse than on a SDTV

so when you take it back they give you store credit...

Or he had a replacement plan on something and it finally crapped out on him. A replacement plan gives you store credit for what you paid + tax on the item.
