Cause I have an 83, 11 absences, and am taking this final on Friday cause I'm leaving for an internship the 13th at 5am. In addition to taking my 4 other finals on Monday and Tuesday... Guess I better get crackin on learning it now so I can get a 100 and so I dont drop my GPA on some dumb intro class.

right now i got an 89.5, but got my 15th absense today(overslept, went to bed at like 7am doing another project)...so i got 3 plus or minus grades coming off now...if i get a 90 or above i get 457 points which is the lowest b+

What's really sad is that I have one absence in her class, but a lot of people with 15 absences did better on the tests than I did because they can apparently force themselves to read the book. I think I cracked it twice.
I sit in the front row, answer all her questions, but every question on her test is from the freaking book. THAT'S why DNL can "do so well" in the class with that many absences.

With that being said, I did like the email she sent out...

this doesn't entitle you to a better grade. it's your own damn fault you weren't smart enough or responsible enough to open the book. this class is just like it should be... easy A with minimal work. it's still your responsibility to the work - however little it may be.

Yeah, things are slightly different between the two sections.
I don't understand why she decided to wait a week to post grades from the 8am class...just to post them at the same time as the 9am class. Her class is the only grade I'm waiting on (minus my psych class that I just took my exam in this morning).

Bottom line Brown is the worst teacher at NCSU. SHe has been teaching for too long.....ever real world examply she stated in class is out dated by 15 years....I can give examples:

1. She told our class that people selling medicine often take doctors to NHL or NBA games to "give presentations", basically to bride them use their drugs. My dad is a doctor here in Raleigh, after he laughed for 30 minutes he told how that is highly illegal now and has been for 10 years.

2. She told our class that people fucking sleep on cotts at Cisco, I guess becuase they work long hours. I worked at Cisco this summer, never seen one or heard of people staying there. As a matter or fact most of them leave the damn place by 2:00.

Worst Teacher ever. I'm talking to the Dean on Wednesday morning. You can't be in a position like she is and be making statements that are completely false and out-dated.

jesus christ you people complain alot. her class was an easy A....i went to every class and read the book like she told us to the first day of damn class. you're in college now, if you havent figured out how to study for an exam by this point you have issues you need to deal with.

and as far as her being a crappy teacher....don't get me started. i've had much worse teachers here...
