You do not have to imagine a number for it to exist.

The counting numbers, which you alluded to, exist as a logical extension of the concept of one more. Technicially, the successor function.

Without a doubt computers have implemented a floating point number which no human has actually taken the time to imagine. However, it reaches an answer whose implications are borne out in the real world. In every sensible way that number is exists.

Fine, lets end the threat:

Assume there is a finite set of numbers, E. E contains a highest number, q. Now add 1 to q, creating the number q + 1. Since q + 1 > q, and q is the highest number in E, then q + 1 is not in set E. Therefore E does not contain all numbers and the original statement is false. We can conclude this is NOT a finite set of numbers.
