Major iTunes 7 problemshttp://www.engadget.com/2006/09/14/itunes-7-turning-out-to-have-major-glitches/Golovko: Glad it works for you, but you are in the vast minority with your time vs money argument.

considering how much DVD's and Cable Customers sell, I would argue that you are.iTunes, as of Feb 2006 had 15 million total video downloads. Apple doesn't make a distinction between TV and Music Videos. That's 30 million bucks over a year and a half.Cable on the other hand, is a multi-BILLION dollar industry.

It does have some nice user interface improvements though:- iPod software updates through iTunes instead of the seperate iPodUpdater- Disk usage breakdown by type- The ability to re-label your own ripped TV shows as "TV shows" and have appear under that menu- Addition of games is pretty sweetI haven't had time to play with it that much, but so far I like it.

Back onto itunes 7, whenever I am playing music and then more sound plays over it, such as a video game or a movie, the itunes will get horribly scratchy and distorted, and skip forward randomly. This has never been a problem with previous versions, or any other audio program.I like the new features and such, but this sucks, I might have to downgrade myself.
9/22/2006 8:03:46 PM
this is one of the many known problems with itunes 7

well, there has to be SOME benchmark for good taste. My point was there is a big difference between a rental movie, and a movie worth purchasing (though honestly, I don't see the point in buying dvd's at all, as I've yet to watch ANY movie more than 3-4 times)Good point though
9/25/2006 3:11:07 PM
I guess when you have "lost" then the best thing to do is pretend it doesn't bother you. Just consider that the next time you make another "look at my new toy" thread and the apparent esteem boost it will no doubt generate.
9/25/2006 3:11:25 PM
look at my new toy! (iTunes 7) it cost me $0.00.

^Yea, we had some random flyer on our door with the TWC prices marked through and specials written in, with some person to call. Called the lady, she hooked it up with time warner and we got our service.and when the promo rate runs out, I've always just called them, told them I wanted to keep the same rate or cancel, and they have always just locked me in
9/25/2006 9:10:30 PM
I think it's about time to call and tell em I want it at the same rate everyone else gets it or I'll cancel. If they say fuck you, I'll just leech off a neighbor I suppose.
