http://www.berda.com/pennants.shtml2.20/piece for a min order of 50 +$40 setup charge, I'm in G-ville, SC right now, or I'd do it tonight[Edited on August 28, 2006 at 6:46 PM. Reason : .]
8/28/2006 6:46:12 PM
Those pennants are only 8"x18" I think the 12"x30" are better... at $3.44 a piece, the first one is a better deal per square inch than that one.
8/28/2006 7:51:24 PM
good call, didn't see the different sizes, so who's making them? shit, i'd do it but I doubt everyone wants to pay shipping from greenville sc
8/28/2006 8:48:06 PM
i'm working on one, anyone know what font that is?
8/28/2006 8:56:54 PM
put me down for two
8/28/2006 8:59:25 PM
^^ appears to be this font:http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/berthold/city-bq/bold/
8/28/2006 10:54:13 PM
looks close enough, i'm in for two
8/28/2006 10:55:51 PM
actually this one is pretty close but it is free:http://www.dafont.com/blax-slab-xxl.font?nb_ppp=50&text=NOT+LIGHT+REDand i'm in for a dozen or a bushel or whateverrealistically about 3here's the thing: we have to make sure it is state red, or at least close to itdon't want some kind of orangey looking red
8/28/2006 10:59:28 PM
somebody please do this.I'll buy a bunch too.
8/28/2006 11:22:35 PM
i'de take onea t-shirt would be nice too
8/28/2006 11:37:58 PM
about the state symbol....they sell the block S and strutting wolf patches in the bookstore; if you bought the patches from there and then sew it onto the banner, would u need the trademark licenses?
8/28/2006 11:39:36 PM
^^^^ awesome. I'm going to engage a professional graphic designer to get it all right (01grad)^ If I put them on there and tried to sell them, yes, i'd have to get it licensed, but if you bought a banner sans logo from me and put the logo on yourself, you're golden.
8/29/2006 12:03:24 AM
I too would buy one or more....a t-shirt would also be even more awesome
8/29/2006 2:25:50 PM
should be ordering them this week.
8/29/2006 3:30:43 PM
how are you going to distribute? Will you mail them?
8/29/2006 3:36:02 PM
^^ I want one[Edited on August 29, 2006 at 3:36 PM. Reason : .]
8/29/2006 3:36:29 PM
^^ yep, i'll mail them if you pay for the shipping, will arrange it via paypal.01grad should have a few designs (playing with some different fonts) ready by tonight, and i'll post 'em up.
8/29/2006 3:45:56 PM
^ do you have to have a paypal acount to pay for something with it or just to sell with it?Ill def buy a couple
8/29/2006 3:46:38 PM
yeah, you have to have an account to pay with it.I may put them on ebay at a fixed price so that there's some level of accountability for those of y'all who don't trust me but I'll work out all of that stuff once i've got 'em ordered.
8/29/2006 4:00:33 PM
ncsu would only take 7% (assuming they approve it) - they don't take a huge cut
8/29/2006 4:05:07 PM
i don't mind putting the logo on myselfi'll buy some of these as well.t-shirt is a good idea too
8/29/2006 4:10:24 PM
I want 2 pennantsand I'd like to have a tshirt with it as wellon the front it could say the "THIS ISN'T RED"then the rest on the back[Edited on August 29, 2006 at 4:12 PM. Reason : .]
8/29/2006 4:11:45 PM
^^yeah, it's not that much of a cut. However, I suspect they won't approve it, and even if they did, the process would take a while.
^^ yeah T-shirts would be sweet too.
8/29/2006 4:12:48 PM
8/29/2006 4:25:41 PM
Yeah, I have Officially licensed NCSU condoms and cockrings on my cafepress![Edited on August 29, 2006 at 4:38 PM. Reason : .]
8/29/2006 4:33:15 PM
^^ sounds like you've gone through the process before.. what's the turn around time on it?
8/29/2006 4:43:09 PM
my roommate was a textiles major - for one of their classes they had some guy from licensing come in and explain the whole process to them - i won't see him until thursday but i can try to get a hold of him before then to ask - i just remember him telling me they were pretty quick about it and didn't turn down a lot (unless it's obviously offensive) b/c it's basically free money for ncsu
8/29/2006 4:46:06 PM
cool.. i also just left a voice mail for Cindy Sears, the licensing director, so i'll find out firsthand as well.hm... looking at LRG's website, the application for becoming a licensee requires stuff I don't have...http://www.lrgusa.com/media/scms/lrg_application_07_13_06.pdf
8/29/2006 4:51:08 PM
good luck - i can be pretty lazy - i'd prefer to buy one put together alreadyi'm in for one if they are reasonably priced
8/29/2006 4:53:15 PM
i like to use - sometimes too often - hyphens when i type - they break apart portions of sentences - i don't know any other punctuation though
8/29/2006 5:00:15 PM
message_topic.aspx?topic=426383this has already been covered - take it to chit chat - or the feedback forum - it's not needed in sports talk - but gg - thx - for -the - grammar - help
8/29/2006 5:02:02 PM

8/29/2006 5:03:38 PM

8/29/2006 5:10:23 PM
Prices start at $20/shirt, and come down from there depending on how many are ordered.
8/29/2006 6:53:27 PM
snap i want 1
8/29/2006 6:57:28 PM
i'll take a shirt, you got a link? i can put them up on my cafepress store if you all want. i wont take a cut, so it would just be whatever they charge.
8/29/2006 7:03:57 PM
put me down for one XXLps, I want a discount since thats the shirt I described in this thread
8/29/2006 7:07:18 PM
No link right now. Just looking to see the potential interest, I made it at uberprints.com, they require a 12shirt min order so basically looking to scout out the interest here
8/29/2006 7:07:47 PM
12 people have to want this
8/29/2006 7:09:30 PM
are you taking a cut? because cafepress is only like $16 (not sure if they can print an image that large though)i'll take 1 (2 if you are struggling to get 12, which i doubt)[Edited on August 29, 2006 at 7:10 PM. Reason : ,]
8/29/2006 7:09:35 PM
If someone makes shirts, plz take the comma after "This" out.
8/29/2006 7:10:02 PM
i couldn't get cafepress to offer a red t-shirtnote to all. I currently live in greenville, sc so shipping will probably be an additional 4-5/shirt.30L shirts are $11/each (other sizes are additional $). make it $17-18 shipped[Edited on August 29, 2006 at 7:15 PM. Reason : free shipping to me]
8/29/2006 7:13:18 PM
well i will take a large one and the ad has the comma too but i think its wrong.my computer is barebones right now, but if someone puts togethor an image i can call a local place and compare prices
8/29/2006 7:16:16 PM
yes.. please send me a large image... I know some places also
8/29/2006 7:16:54 PM
8/29/2006 7:20:30 PM
well a printed shirt won't have the comma
8/29/2006 7:21:38 PM
pwrstrkd, if you know some places just call and describe it and get a quotei was just going to use yellow pages
8/29/2006 7:22:04 PM
I know of a place that I will try and call tomorrowthey just printed 300 shirts for my company last weekplus one of their employees goes to state and can drop it off at my office I'll check and come back with pricesbut I don't plan on shipping any (unless out of state)
