i think the video further validates what happened when a jet hit the pentagon. it turned to dust.THERE WAS NO 9/11 CONSPIRACY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
9/11/2006 6:51:58 PM
Actually there was a conspiracy. All of you agree on that much at least. Most of you believe in the one that involved at least 19 brown people, and most probably more than that, most of whom were associated with a group called Al Qaeda and maybe Saddam Hussein. The one most of you don't believe--and what salisburyboy does believe--is that instead of 19 brown peope and probably more who were involved only with Al Qaeda or anti-Western organizations, they were also involved with the government of the United States, the Israeli Mossad, the Illuminati, the N.W.O., P.N.A.C., the C.I.A., the O.N.I., the D.I.A., F.E.M.A., the Freemasons, the Bavarian Club, the Knights of Malta, the Knights Templar, or any random combination thereof and through the mask of Al Qaeda carried out the attacks of 9/11.It's pretty amazing that a plane can vanish after an explosion. Both of your explanations--at their root--still require conspiracy theories nonetheless to explain them. [Edited on September 11, 2006 at 10:12 PM. Reason : ...]

the remains of the plane are at fort belvior in Alexandria, VAmy gf's uncle does a lot of work for the base, and he knows a lot of people that are high up in the government. And i was telling him about this whole conspiracy thing, and he said that he has seen it with his own two eyes

Obviously a government misinformation agent. I mean, srslyl. Who is this guy MyCarSucks? Why does his car suck? Why is he suddenly posting in the Soap Box? I mean, shouldn't he be in The Garage? Total Illuminati defending, brainwashed sheeple deluded by the MSM into spreading misinformation about the world on message boards. He's totally not WARRIOR CLASS. And he probably doesn't even like cheese.
9/12/2006 12:37:57 AM
i dont like cheese. Not brie cheeseYou're some kind of a commy lovin, american hating hippie, tree huggin, flag burnin nazi aren't you Gamecat. You all may not know it but this man is a spy. He's a undercover agent for the FBI And he's been sent down here to infiltrate the wolf web! Would you believe this man has gone as far as tearing yellow ribbon stickers off the bumpers of cars and he voted for George McGovern for President. He's a friend of them long haired, hippy-type, pinko fags! I betchya he's even got a commie flagtacked up on the wall inside of his garage. He's a snake in the grass, I tell ya guys. He may look dumb but that's just a disguise, He's a mastermind in the ways of espionage

I like how you people just completly forget the physics of this shit, like the f4 is about 200x less mass & 200x faster. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but that's apples and oranges there, you should just crash a b2 bomber against the wall instead.

F4 Phantom = 60,000 lbs767 Airliner = 450,000 lbs/= 200x weightF4 in video = 500 mph767 that hit Pentagon /= 2.5 mph, which would be 1/200x speedbut please, remind me about physics again]

I'll admit I'm a little like salisburyboy in the same way most academics I know are: I believe that no government always tells the truth (Iran's or Ours? or both?), and I believe no corporation always tells the truth (CBS or Fox News? or both?). You could consider this a corrollary of believing that few people always tell the truth. The place where conspiracy hoots lose it is by leaping beyond that into the koolaid pool of believing that it implies any specific and proveable cause or agenda behind it, usually without any evidence or justification that makes rational sense at all. That's why any leap from there is like a cliff-dive, folks. That's why people like salisburyboy tend to look so batty. Once you open yourself up to believing that you can be lied to by pretty much any organization that provides information (government, media, teacher, blog, institute, etc.), you have to be very careful. If you don't like Jewish people for whatever reason (saw a passion play at an early age, whatever), you might get a copy of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion--a well-established forgery--and believe that it pretty well sums up history. The Jews and Illuminati run it all through manipulation of information control. That's why the Holocaust never happened, it's all like the Faked Moon Landing. You get the point. It's easy from there to substitute a wild reality without giving it coherent, objective, and logical consideration. Not to say the government or corporations lie about everything, or even most things, but they definitely both lie or misrepresent the truth about many significant things. But where you go picking and choosing substitute versions of history, you have to at minimum be careful in how you do so.There's something inherently dangerous about walking that fine line between completely mistrusting everything because everyone lies, and selectively mistrusting things because everyone lies. Taking any one story as gospel at that point becomes contradictory. If you're going to be skeptical at that stage, you have to require that only logic and rationality guide you. Not your willingness to believe. As is often said, "Belief is no substitute for critical thinking."That's why I rarely believe an official account of a story--even the 9/11 account--but grimace when nutbars go and ruin it for everyone who doesn't have some bizarre and latent anachronistic social faux pas like anti-semitism. It makes it impossible to have more than pithy debates about whether some issue has enough leftness to bias it into ridiculousness or enough rightness to bias it into the same direction. Meaningful debate is lost because idiots like him limit discussion to the ordinary. And discussions of his sanity.[Edited on September 12, 2006 at 1:11 AM. Reason : ...]

salisburyboy how come you STILL havent commented on this?
9/12/2006 9:25:21 AM
^I think it was because he had a posting restriction that limited him to only posting in threads that he created. I guess he could always create another thread or post in one of his existing threads. Meh. You already know what the answer will be, right?
9/12/2006 10:43:38 AM
9/11 just wasn't the same without salisburyboy's ridiculous list of bullshit.

9/12/2006 1:44:01 PM
^ But they argued over whether or not they were the hijacked planes. People were saying that they didn't have windows, that they weren't painted right, and that they had pods attached to them.Basically people can't come to terms with the event and as such are tempted to create extraordinary causes for them.
9/12/2006 2:29:12 PM
^similar to most organized religions!
9/12/2006 2:49:22 PM
what really pisses me off is that i know several people that SAW the plane hit the pentagonyou could see it from the 395 overpass that passes right by the pentagon and navy annexi have 2 friends and 1 cousin that were on that road, in two seperate cars, and saw it happen. I believe them a whole helluva lot more than what some crackpot theorist says.it's also offensive as shit. i had a neighbor that was in that quadrant, and luckily able to get out with only a massive concussion from a computer monitor hitting his head.this is ridiculous. it happened. get over it.
9/12/2006 2:52:48 PM
And salisburyboy'd skeptically say, and he'd be right, that you're arguing a strawman. The central thesis of his story is that the event happened. Both of you assert that.[Edited on September 12, 2006 at 3:03 PM. Reason : ...]
9/12/2006 3:03:12 PM
and i'd say salisburyboy's a self-righteous, indignant piece of cowardice shit; and i'd be right.the "missile" argument isn't an argument at all. it's simply false. i don't know how else to say it. it was a plane. it was hijacked.Barbra Olson's family, and the staff at CNN, are REALLY committed to the Flight 77 lie[Edited on September 12, 2006 at 3:10 PM. Reason : ugh]
9/12/2006 3:05:58 PM
Yet you're not presenting anything to contradict his central thesis. He's poor at phrasing it properly, and you're arguing over his story's inconsistencies, but fundamentally both of your accounts involve the same two elements: (a) The Twin Towers were attacked and collapsed, (b) The Pentagon was attacked and a portion of it was damaged, (c) A third plane was attacked and exploded in Pennsylvania. What elements of his account are so offensive to you? How does his account diminish the lives of any victims?
9/12/2006 3:14:50 PM
there is a fundamental difference in claiming"the pentagon was attacked""the pentagon was attacked by a hijacked airplane""the pentagon was attacked by a missile shot by the government as a part of a zionist agenda"It's not the basic argument that pisses me off, it's the agenda behind it, and his intent in saying it. It's disrespectful to the memories of those on the flight to insinuate that it wasn't a plane, but a missile. Furthermore, I don't appreciate someone basically calling every witness on that I-395 overpass a liar. The disagreement, and thus, the offense, is taken through the details.
9/12/2006 3:20:03 PM
dont forget the anti-Semitism
9/12/2006 4:00:15 PM
An anti-Semitic agenda is attrocious. But, he's not belittling the lives of the victims.

I'm no engineer, but I do know that concrete used in the construction of various structures has been reinforced for generations. Using rebar, which is steel bars, a mesh is formed, and concrete is poured into forms containing the mesh. In this way, the load-bearing capacity of the concrete is greatly increased.
