Revelation 16:8,9 “And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.”

Stop being so sarcastic and devil's advocate-y, Josh####
7/31/2006 11:39:28 PM

7/31/2006 11:49:36 PM

7/31/2006 11:50:13 PM
Alan Colmes is a toolbag, and the only pundit on fox that doesnt advocate bombing San Francisco or whatever O'Reily said.
7/31/2006 11:51:56 PM
^^never heard of him eitheri watch hannnity, oreily and cavuto every night though.[Edited on July 31, 2006 at 11:53 PM. Reason : 234 ]

7/31/2006 11:52:55 PM
yes....and?
7/31/2006 11:53:57 PM
ok you're getting really boring
7/31/2006 11:59:32 PM
you dont know that.
8/1/2006 12:02:58 AM
yeah i doyour trolling went from mildly amusing to typical and boring...you fail
8/1/2006 12:03:41 AM
So? So? So?
8/1/2006 12:04:18 AM
This devolved rather quickly. And also Josh, the same types of foods will grow, even with a hotter climate. They'll simply grow elsewhere. It isn't that hard...
8/1/2006 8:25:08 AM
i know....just look at mars....they've got plenty of crops
8/1/2006 9:01:59 AM
The Gorgotron has destroyed our armies and villages and people and all of our pets and he has laid waste to our craps.
8/1/2006 9:12:47 AM
Josh, Mars is cold...not hotBut, global warming isn't this catastrophic "day after tomorrow" kinda thing. Temperatures rise a few degrees, which changes landscapes. So instead of corn in Iowa, it grows in Canada.Oh no!
8/1/2006 9:14:37 AM
not this shit again
8/1/2006 9:37:03 AM
^^ you dont know that.
8/1/2006 12:16:41 PM
I don't know that?Well then, tell me what will happen during this global warming crisis. Also, feel free to cite "The Day After Tomorrow" as scientific. And how about we only talk about how it'll affect it over the next 150,000,000 year or so, rather than the "whole earth will be covered in water" fiasco that may happen in a billion or so.
8/1/2006 1:34:50 PM
"The Day After Tomorrow" was a stupid movie. Does that give you the right to be a moron?[Edited on August 1, 2006 at 1:39 PM. Reason : a ]
8/1/2006 1:39:02 PM
Nope, but it represents the kind of irrational fears behind the Earth's mean temperature rising a couple degrees. Yes, it will have massive impacts. Yes, it might make parts of the earth unlivable. But it will also make other parts of the earth livable. That's the way a GLOBAL even works. So, the hardiness zones shift around a bit over the next 1000 years. Big fucking deal. The sea-rise is a problem, but we're not talking about next week. And it isn't like we're hurting for space in the middle of the country.
8/1/2006 1:45:30 PM
The problem is that we have to live through the changes. Which is going to cause war and famine. And I have to agree with bgmims here, while I do think we are massively contributing to global warming, there is no current PROOF that we are the cause. Climatologists will be quick to tell a warming trend happens over 1000, 5000, 10000 years, not 50. 50 years is a complete drop in the bucket and can be caused by completely natural conditions.

we're actually just coming out of a mini ice age. earth is still in a "cool" period right now. its all one big cycle.
8/1/2006 11:48:18 PM

Pat Robertson:"We really need to address the burning of fossils fuels. It's getting hotter and the ice caps are melting. And there's a buildup of carbon dioxide in the air ... the most convincing evidence I have seen on global warming in long time."Agree or burn in hell. [Edited on August 4, 2006 at 8:47 PM. This baffles me...Scientists have been saying so for years. But a heatwave is what convinces him?
8/5/2006 12:35:11 AM
i believe he said it was the buildup of CO2
8/5/2006 12:40:06 AM
But this is new, right?I've never heard him say anything in favor of it before.
8/5/2006 12:42:56 AM
well heat waves arent new
8/5/2006 12:43:59 AM
No, I mean his comments are new and a reversal from his previous stance (omg flip-flop)And it just so happens to coincide with a major heatwave.
8/5/2006 12:49:09 AM
i know. and my point is, there have been many heat waves in the past, if that was the catayst, it should have happened long ago.
8/5/2006 12:50:26 AM
Are we sure it was a flip flop? Pat strikes me as one of those religious nuts taking responsibility for God's creation...
