holy shit wtf
9/21/2006 8:56:49 PM
i thought that episode was weak...
9/21/2006 8:57:30 PM
9/21/2006 8:57:47 PM
^ yes, yes it did
9/21/2006 8:58:07 PM
it was only subpar because they had to do a lot of exposition
9/21/2006 8:58:13 PM
well that just sucks cuz i missed it thinkin it was on at the same time
9/21/2006 8:59:47 PM
Loved it.....gaydar ending was awesome
9/21/2006 9:00:39 PM
funny episode but not as good as last season... just gotta wait til they bring jim back to fuck with dwight
9/21/2006 9:12:15 PM
^ i agree.the gaydar was hilarious though
9/21/2006 9:13:20 PM
solid ep, but jim needs to come back as was already statedhis faces are hilarious
9/21/2006 9:19:13 PM
I thought it was pretty good. Kinda over the top though. I mean, instead of it Mike and Dwight being laughably pathetic, they were disturbingly pathetic. And Angela sucks so bad.
9/21/2006 9:32:32 PM
i don't know, it was way below the bar that was set last season in my opinion. the gaydar at the end was funny, but everything else was pretty average at best.hopefully it improves next week.
9/21/2006 9:35:32 PM
just wanted to mention watching tv shows actually airing on tv sucks after you watch seasons 1 and 2 nonstop on dvds
9/21/2006 9:53:10 PM
9/21/2006 10:06:04 PM
the gaydar ending was funny, but the rest of the gay stuff seemed like they were reaching for material.
9/21/2006 10:30:47 PM
the only good part of this ep was when michael and dwight were contemplating who in the office was gay, and michael mentions angela being with another woman....the look on dwight's face was pricelessbut other than that, weaksauce on a limpwurst
9/21/2006 11:18:40 PM

mehhad a few laughspretty surprised at the complete wedding cancellation and ahaha the DUIthe gaydar at sharper image thing was hilariousand girl from boston public could still catch a dick
9/21/2006 11:50:21 PM
yeah, episode was middle of the road. Some good laughs, but they definately had a lot of "serious stuff" they had to get out of the way - pam/jim, jim's new job, the wedding, etc. I'm sure we'll be seeing lots more good stuff coming up, and of course they'll have to figure out a way to get Jim back to Scranton. I can't imagine they would try to fully develop the Stanford (Samford?) office like they have the Scranton office - that would just be way too many characters. and in retrospect, it shouldn't have come as any surprise that Pam simply called off the wedding. I mean we all knew (or should have known) that: 1) Pam and Roy wouldn't actually get married - that would effectively terminate any chance her and Jim would get together without messy cheating and divorce.... not a fun topic for a sitcom. 2) Pam and Jim wouldn't just "get together". Again, that leaves a mess with Roy wanting to kill Jim, plus it severly limits the future options of the show.So if Pam and Roy wouldn't get married, and Pam and Jim wouldn't get together, then basically that leaves Pam calling off the wedding (the only other option is Roy did something stupid and f-ed up the wedding on his own, but then that would leave Pam as the victim, when she really needs to be "the hero" in this situation). Thinking back on the episode, I guess they didn't really develop the wedding cancellation much.... i'm sure there will be more of that when Jim gets back.btw, here's a well reasoned and non-inflamatory column comparing the 4 versions of the Office - UK, US, France, Germany. http://www.slate.com/id/2150015/and having spent the last year in germany, watching the short clip from the German show where the boss puts "Hitler" on one of the woman's forehead (as in Diversity Day) really rings true, and captures how the shows have to be different in each country to show cultural differences. i.e. in the US shows Diversity Day, there are a couple Jew/Holocaust jokes and there have been Hitler jokes in several episodes - no big deal. To us, Hitler is funny. That is simply not tollerated in Germany - watching the US shows with German friends can even make them uncomfortable when there are tiny Hitler jokes (forget about watching South Park....). The reaction of the German employees is dead-on to how that situation would be seen in a german office. It also had a good little commentary on why, for example, the British show just wouldn't fly over here, or vice versa

THAT SHIT WAS GLORIOUS, SON!
9/22/2006 1:10:25 AM

9/22/2006 1:20:47 AM
wish they would do more with ed helms.
9/22/2006 1:30:29 AM
they will******* SEMI SPOLIER ALERT*******
9/22/2006 1:41:24 AM
My favorite part is at the end when Michael says "Or that's what he said".
9/22/2006 4:22:17 AM
9/22/2006 5:55:13 AM
that's not what's it's called
9/22/2006 10:18:15 AM
well, i know they a had a lot of loose ends to tie up, so i wasnt too disapointed with the episode. even though it wasn't my favorite or anything.it sux that jim isnt there right now bc ryan is boring and sux for not even trying to be pam's buddy. and i was suprised that she broke off the wedding, but after reading what someone put in here, i guess it was the only way to proceed.dwight's fake crying was scary and i thought it was funny when the girl in the new office made fun of how jim always shrugs at the camera
9/22/2006 10:28:33 AM
i just want to see dwight's audition tape. if i was the casting guy, i would probably have cried.
9/22/2006 10:33:02 AM
MOTHER FUCKERI FORGOT ALL ABOUT THIS LAST NIGHT
9/22/2006 11:23:07 AM
good episodekiss was awkward, guy getting mad at his calculator in jello was awkward, solid episode overall
9/22/2006 11:27:25 AM
awkward is what makes that show so great.
9/22/2006 11:29:01 AM
i love dwights reaction after Michael kissed Oscar. Dwight had been extrememly homophobic the whole time, verging on hostile, then Michael tries to kiss Oscar and all of a sudden Dwight thinks that's an excellent idea
9/22/2006 11:30:53 AM
I loved how Dwight tried to get all Kung-fu on Oscar after he pushed Angela aside.
9/22/2006 11:40:35 AM
I agree that the episode was weak even though I missed the last scene after the kiss. Are they going to merge the two offices this season like in the British version?
9/22/2006 12:03:29 PM
anyone have the picture of roy's mugshot?
9/22/2006 4:35:37 PM
9/22/2006 5:40:27 PM
ahahahahahahahahah
9/22/2006 10:13:24 PM
thanks thats awesome
9/22/2006 11:15:12 PM
the episode definately exceeded my expectations. credit to the writing. they managed to write a set-up show for the rest of the season that was neither lackluster nor watered down. the "two office" deal is like twice the value....and Pam got what she deserves.Awesome.
9/23/2006 2:50:47 AM
im starting to feel like some people who watch this show are just watching it because of steve carrell and because other people they know watch it. its not supposed to be a slapstick, force-fed comedy show...you get it or you dont
9/23/2006 9:44:04 AM
are you kidding steve carell isnt even top 3 when it comes to funny people on this show. Jim, Dwight, and Stanley are all funnier than michael
9/23/2006 9:47:18 AM
i didnt say thats why i watch it, im just saying all the new people watching it and people that dont think the show is funny just dont get it
9/23/2006 11:41:41 AM
^^agreed. Micheal has his moments, but someone else usually set him up for it. Jim and Dwight (and Stanley can be on point) really take it.I wanna know if Jim know that Pam is single yet. ]
9/23/2006 11:41:48 AM
Crede is the fucking man too when it comes to laughs. His line about how a dude might have slipped in there was hilarious.[Edited on September 23, 2006 at 4:30 PM. Reason : sss]

How can some of you say this episode was weak? I thought it was fucking hilarious. Jim;s expression after dude kicked the trashcan was priceless.
9/23/2006 4:52:23 PM
9/23/2006 4:54:05 PM
Creed was kind of emo in the sixties.
