how is it not as easy? I want a song, I type it into limewire, within 10 seconds, I have tons of results, in under 1 min, I have my song. My god, if thats considered too hard for you, you don't need to be using a fucking computer.
9/7/2006 6:49:29 PM
i dont have to search through results to make sure its the right thingand i dont have to worry about the riaa sending me a bad song or a lawsuit
9/7/2006 6:53:24 PM
allofmp3 > limewire
9/7/2006 7:19:05 PM
ah ha, but allofmp3 is legal!
9/7/2006 7:54:17 PM
^or rather the RIAA is not able to actively track allofmp3 users down
9/7/2006 8:04:42 PM
This is kinda why I never understood why Napster just didn't move to another country when the RIAA forced them to shut down.
9/7/2006 8:07:49 PM
napster didnt have that kind of money
9/7/2006 9:13:26 PM
9/7/2006 10:35:23 PM
Why is the argument here between allofmp3 and limewire? Doesn't bittorrent contribute to like a third of all internet traffic? If that 2cents/mb makes you feel better about downloading illegal music, then stick with it. Otherwise, I would check out Oink. Its convenient, free, and has exclusively 192kbps and above.

OMG LETS NOT FORGET WASTE TOO
9/8/2006 7:41:54 AM
i used itunes forever, then i switched to linux. i've used allofmp3 a couple times since then, but if itunes came out for linux, i would switch back.
9/8/2006 10:46:39 AM
This isn't a perfect fix, but apparently you can get iTunes going on Linux with WINE. http://frankscorner.org/index.php?p=itunes6

10/19/2006 3:51:20 PM
they still accept paypal don't they?if they do then visa is dumb as hell. people will just use paypal as the intermediary.
10/19/2006 6:26:38 PM
where do you pay with paypal
10/19/2006 7:15:00 PM
dunno -haven't used allofmp3 for a while but i thought they did paypal back when i did use them
10/19/2006 7:23:46 PM

10/19/2006 11:58:08 PM

10/20/2006 9:00:13 AM
they don't take paypal and take some stupid sketchy meduim instead
10/23/2006 12:47:56 PM
I'm no legal buff but from what I've read here it is legal buy songs off of allofmp3. However it is illegal under the new russian law for allofmp3 to sell the mp3's and not pay royalties to the copyright holder. The fact that they aren't paying the royalties isn't of concern to the buyer. It would be like buying some cd's at a discount price from a local record store and then the store later being busted for having stolen the cd's from a warehouse. Your not liable because you did nothing illegal ie, purchase the cds.I guess if it could be proven that you knew allofmp3 was illegal and still bought it that might be a different story... but seeing as how some people are saying on here that it is legal through a loophole that would be hard to prove.[Edited on October 23, 2006 at 1:21 PM. allofmp3 was gone, and now mp3sparks.com is gone too (it had been up over the weekend...I tested out my login)I can connect and use alltunes, but things are HORRIBLY wonky. I searched for songs I've downloaded previously, and some were returned, titled properly, but in another language, and some were simply not found. I've still got ~$9 in credit
7/5/2007 1:39:31 PM
after allofmp3.com went down, i started using gomusic.rustill up right now.
7/5/2007 1:46:00 PM
musicmp3.ru is pretty good too. I did some research and found a forum discussing the allofmp3.com shut down. A number of people said that musicmp3.ru is one of the better Russian operated sites still out there. I've download 5 or 6 full CDs from there lately and it works well. The interface isn't as automated as allofmp3 was (you have to right click -> save as each song), but the plus side is that if you buy a whole album you get a 10% discount.
7/6/2007 11:47:12 AM
alot of people must be going to that site cause it is really slow right now.
